Getaway package offers value, practice time through April

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. (Feb. 22, 2019) – There’s no better way for golfers to hone their games than with a getaway to central Florida where the weather is ideal, course conditions are perfect, and rates are attractively affordable.

Mission Inn & Resort, located in Howey-in-the-Hills just 35 minutes northwest of Orlando, offers a “Golfer’s Getaway Package” that includes a daily round on one of two distinct, award-winning courses — Las Colinas or El Campeón.

Available Sunday through Thursday nights now through to April 27, the ‘Getaway’ package includes:

• deluxe lodging accommodations;

• bountiful breakfast buffet following each night’s stay;

• 18 holes of golf daily for two (per night’s stay);

• one $50 resort credit (per person for every two-night stay);

• advance tee times;

• shared cart for 18 holes (per night’s stay);

• unlimited range use; and

• club cleaning, storage and bag tag.

Package rates start at $258 per person, per night, based on double occupancy, plus taxes and resort fees. Lodging upgrades to a Club Suite are also available.

A similar package, with a spa component, is available for the golfer who brings a guest who won’t be playing golf. Mission Inn Resort & Club’s luxurious 6,000-square-foot Spa Marbella offers a variety of treatments, including facials, massages, manicures, pedicures and more.

Opened in 1917, El Campeón (The Champion) offers a classic design accentuating the landscape’s 85-foot elevation changes that are unique to the central Florida region. Las Colinas (The Hills), which opened in 1992, lives up to its name with wide fairways rolling over gentle rises. Las Colinas incorporates water hazards on many holes, with large, undulating greens surrounded by tropical vegetation.

Mission Inn Resort & Club is situated amid citrus groves and rolling hills. Surrounded by lakes, the picturesque location features classic Spanish Colonial style architecture throughout the property; 176 graciously appointed guestrooms, suites, and villas; as well as three restaurants and two lounges. Besides golf, amenities include tennis courts, lakefront marina, and miles of nature trails.

For more information, as well as to book the “Golfers Getaway Package,” call (800) 874-9053 toll-free or (352) 324-3101 direct, or visit www.missioninnresort.com.
