TIGER WOODS ANNOUNCES INITIAL FIELD FOR THE 2023 HERO WORLD CHALLENGE

ALBANY, Bahamas – Tournament host Tiger Woods has announced the field for the 2023 Hero World Challenge, set to return to Albany, Bahamas, Nov. 30-Dec. 3.  

This year’s field features eight of the top 10 players in the world, including two-time defending champion Viktor Hovland and world No. 1-ranked Scottie Scheffler. Three members of the winning European Ryder Cup team will compete at Albany, joined by 11 members of the U.S. team. 

Two major champions from the 2023 season will make their debuts in the Hero World Challenge – U.S. Open winner Wyndham Clark and Open Championship winner Brian Harman. The 2023 field features nine players who boast a total of 13 major victories. 

The final tournament exemption will be announced at a later date.

Tournament rounds will be held Thursday, Nov. 30-Sunday, Dec. 3 at Albany, bringing the event back to The Bahamas for its eighth year. Live television coverage of the 2023 Hero World Challenge will be provided by GOLF Channel during all four rounds and by NBC during the third and final rounds.  

Grounds tickets and a limited number of premium hospitality packages for the Hero World Challenge are available for purchase at HeroWorldChallenge.com. Proceeds from the Hero World Challenge benefit the TGR Foundation, Tavistock Foundation and Bahamas Youth Foundation.
