8AM Golf, the world’s leading golf-focused holding company, is pleased to announce that two of its flagship events, The Bridges Cup and GOLF’s Top Teachers Summit, will be hosted at the iconic Trump Turnberry Resort in Scotland in 2026.

Trump Turnberry is one of the most historic venues in championship golf, with a particularly strong connection to the amateur game. In addition to hosting four Open Championships, the resort has staged The Amateur Championship, the Walker Cup, the Women’s Open, and The Senior Open Championship.

Its Ailsa Course is consistently ranked among the world’s finest links courses, while the King Robert the Bruce Course has quickly established itself as a modern classic.

Now entering its fourth edition, The Bridges Cup brings together elite mid-amateur golfers and leaders from across the game for a team competition between the United States and a team of top International amateurs. The International team has featured players from around the world, reflecting the truly global nature of the event.

Matches will be contested across two of Trump Turnberry’s most celebrated layouts, the Ailsa Course and the King Robert the Bruce Course.

Since its founding, The Bridges Cup has drawn inspiration from golf’s great team competitions while focusing squarely on high-level amateur golf. The teams include accomplished mid-amateurs and industry professionals who represent clubs and golfing communities around the world.

Previous editions of The Bridges Cup have been held at renowned international venues, including Nine Bridges and Haesley Nine Bridges in South Korea, as well as Les Bordes in France. The United States has won each of the first three editions.

“When The Bridges Cup was founded, there was immediate excitement around showcasing elite mid-amateur golfers who truly represent the game,” said Hoyt McGarity, CEO and President of 8AM Golf. “These are highly accomplished players, but they are also the people you play with at great clubs around the world. That connection is what makes the competition special.

“We have been fortunate to visit incredible venues in South Korea and France, and we are genuinely grateful to now be bringing The Bridges Cup to such an iconic place as Trump Turnberry.”

McGarity  added, “As a GOLF panelist, the Trump Turnberry Ailsa Course has been in my top five for many years. To now host a Bridges Cup there is incredibly exciting. I know the competition will be compelling, but there will also be many people watching who simply want to see these stunning golf courses showcased. Seeing both Trump Turnberry courses highlighted in this setting will be something truly special.”

Alongside The Bridges Cup, 8AM Golf will expand GOLF.com and GOLF Magazine’s Top Teachers Summit beyond the United States for the first time. The Top Teachers Summit, which annually brings together many of the game’s most respected instructors, will travel to Scotland and welcome additional qualified teaching professionals from around the world.

The event will be hosted at Trump Turnberry’s continually developing, world-class facilities, providing an exceptional environment for education, collaboration, and the sharing of best practices.

“Our Top Teachers Summits have continued to grow, especially during the current boom in the game,” said Jason Adel, CEO of GOLF. “We are proud to work with so many outstanding teaching professionals and to help share their knowledge with golfers everywhere. Expanding the Summit to Scotland is a natural extension of that work. Trump Turnberry offers outstanding facilities and amenities, including a world-class golf academy, and it gives our teachers an exceptional place to demonstrate their expertise and connect with their peers and students.”

“We are delighted to welcome both The Bridges Cup and GOLF’s Top Teachers Summit to Trump Turnberry this year,” said Nic Oldham, General Manager at Trump Turnberry. “Turnberry has a long and proud history of hosting the game’s most prestigious championships, particularly in amateur golf, and these events perfectly reflect that heritage.

“Hosting the teaching summit in 2026 is particularly fitting, having recently completed major enhancements to our academy in a pursuit to make Trump Turnberry one of the best coaching facilities in the world.”

Together, The Bridges Cup and GOLF’s Top Teachers Summit at Trump Turnberry will bring elite amateur competition and world-class instruction to one of golf’s most revered destinations, celebrating the game at the highest level.

Dates for both events are to be determined.
