EDEN PRAIRIE, Minnesota (Aug. 16, 2021) – 2nd Swing Golf announced recently its partnership with Youth on Course – the non-profit organization dedicated to opening doors and transforming the lives of young people through opportunities on and off the golf course – to create a golf club donation program that will benefit youth golfers in the United States.

Youth on Course specializes in providing affordable access for young people to become exposed to the game, 2nd Swing Golf allows the perfect opportunity for golfers who may have excess golf clubs they are no longer using to donate them for a good cause. In total, Youth on Course serves more than 100,000 members throughout all 50 states in the United States.

Committed to making the game more appealing, inclusive and accessible to nurture the next generation of lifelong players and lovers of the game, Youth on Course gives its members opportunities to grow on and off the course.

Offering subsidized rounds of golf, members can play at more than 1,400 courses across the country for $5 or less. In addition, Youth on Course provides off-course learning experiences through paid internships, its scholarship program and caddying opportunities.

Golf Club Donations to Youth on Course can be made in three simple steps:

  1. Find the value of your clubs using the Youth on Course Donation Application.
  2. Ship your clubs.
  3. Value of clubs donated will be sent to Youth on Course.

The golf club donation program is powered by 2nd Swing Golf, a golf club retailer with five brick and mortar stores in the United States in addition to a robust online store at 2ndswing.com. 2nd Swing offers the highest trade-in values for golf clubs in the industry.

“We are incredibly excited for this partnership and to work with 2nd Swing Golf,” says Michael Lowe, vice president of programs for Youth on Course. “Knowing we can provide young golfers with the tools and equipment they need to succeed with 2nd Swing Golf is what we strive for – this will only provide young people with more access to the game we love.”

“We are very thankful for the opportunity to partner with the great folks at Youth on Course,” said Simon Kallal, Founder and CEO of 2nd Swing Golf. “Youth on Course is really moving the needle when it comes to getting kids access to golf at lower rates and growing the game. It is our pleasure to help in any way that we can.”

Donors can get started with their donations by visiting the Youth On Course Club Donation page.
