SACRAMENTO, California – The Haggin Oaks Golf Complex was alive with music, camaraderie, and purpose as the 17th Annual Golf & Guitars Music Festival took place Sept. 28–30, raising around six figures to benefit local charities through the Morton Golf Foundation.

The multi-day event, which has become one of the most beloved intersections of golf and country music in the nation, once again brought together top singer-songwriters, passionate golfers, and a generous community in support of causes that change lives. The show marked a major milestone as it surpassed a whopping 2 million dollars in funds raised since its inception.

Over three unforgettable days, Golf & Guitars blended live music from some of Nashville and Texas’s most talented artists with a spirited celebrity-amateur golf tournament, creating a one-of-a-kind atmosphere unlike anything else in the sport.

Funds raised from the event will provide college scholarships, tournament grants, adaptive golf equipment, and program support for youth, veterans, and individuals with disabilities — empowering them to enjoy and grow through the game of golf. Night one’s “pre-show” was held at major wine sponsor Silt Winery’s beautiful winery with an incredible sunset as the backdrop to a special evening of music.

“This event is truly special because it’s about more than just golf or music — it’s about the power of community,” said Ken Morton, Jr. of the Morton Golf Foundation. “To see artists, golfers, and fans come together to make a tangible difference in people’s lives is inspiring every single year.”

This year’s Golf & Guitars once again featured an impressive roster of country artists who brought unforgettable performances to the Haggin Oaks stage. The 2025 lineup included Jackson Dean, George Birge, Runaway June, Love & Theft, Chase Matthew, Jason Michael Carroll, Josh Grider, Drew Kennedy, Mary Sarah, Riley Roth, Megan Conner, Chris Roberts, Johnny & Heidi Bulford, Craig Wayne Boyd, Lauren Mascitti and Brian White.

From rising Nashville stars to chart-topping hitmakers, each artist contributed their time and talent to support the cause, performing intimate acoustic sets, collaborating on stage, and mingling with fans and golfers throughout the event.

What started as a creative way to merge the worlds of country music and golf has grown into a signature event that artists look forward to and fans plan their calendars around. From unforgettable live performances under the stars to the good-natured competition on the fairways, the music, the golf, and the camaraderie were unmatched, reaffirming Golf & Guitars’ reputation as one of the most unique events in golf.

The funds raised this year will continue to fuel programs such as PGA HOPE for veterans, youth golf scholarships, and adaptive golf opportunities for players with physical challenges, furthering the Morton Golf Foundation’s mission to make the game accessible to all.
