Marks the company’s fourth win in the award’s history

OAKBROOK TERRACE, Illinois  – Zero Friction, LLC, a trailblazer in innovative golf products, proudly announces its recent victory at the PGA Show where the company secured an esteemed ING Industry Honor Award. The accolade, granted in the category of Product Ingenuity – Miscellaneous Products, marks Zero Friction’s fourth win in the history of the 30-year-old awards program.

The winning product, the Zero Friction STRIDE, a first-of-its-kind autonomous electric golf bag. The ING Industry Honors result solidified STRIDE’s place among the industry’s most ingenious products. This triumph follows previous ING Industry Honors victories for Zero Friction, including the DistancePro GPS Glove in 2016, Zero Friction SuperTubes in 2018, and the Wheel Pro TREK pushcart bag in 2022.
Weighing 35 pounds, STRIDE includes a remote using Smart Follow Technology, and a built in intelligent gyroscopic control system for stability, speed control and soft start. The bag is able to handle all terrain including steep uphill slopes and tall grass.

Other features include: a battery life of 36 to 45 holes, average speed of 3 mph (max. 5 mph), an autobrake system and a smart gearbox.  Plus, the STRIDE bag has plenty of room, including 14 club dividers, 2 waterproof pockets, 2 towel/accessory rings, 1 umbrella holder, and a built-in cooler which can hold up to 6 cans; as well as 2 invisible magnets to secure your rangefinder and Bluetooth speaker. The bag is available in five colors, and the quick release 10-inch all terrain wheels allow easy storage.

Reflecting on the achievement, Zero Friction Founder and President John Iacono expressed gratitude, saying, “Receiving the ING Industry Honor Award for the fourth time is a testament to our unwavering commitment to innovation in the golf industry. We are humbled and honored to be recognized alongside such esteemed products.”

The ING Industry Honors program recognizes outstanding achievement by ING members in the golf business. The non-profit, media-based networking organization International Network of Golf conducts the awards program.

Nominees in all categories are submitted throughout the year from anyone in the golf industry. The Industry Honors committee then trims the entries to the top three in each category. ING members then vote electronically to determine the winners, who are announced and recognized at the Industry Honors Presentation Press Conference.  The history of accolades underscores Zero Friction’s continuous dedication to pushing the boundaries of product innovation, delivering excellence to the golfing community.
