SOUTH KOREA – WMX-wellmxs USA, an innovative manufacturer of multilayer high-performance golf grips, is expanding into the U.S. market with the release of its HYPER and SUPER swing grips.

Founded in South Korea in 2022 by then 24-year-old Kim Hwon, WMX quickly gained traction among golfers and custom fitting enthusiasts in its local market. Due to its overwhelming success in Korea, the brand has since expanded into Japan and is now entering the U.S. golf market.

Inspired by the opportunity to merge wellness and sport (wellmxs), Hwon assembled a team with over 30 years of expertise in healthcare manufacturing. Recognizing golf as a lifelong activity that promotes health and wellness for players of all ages, Hwon envisioned redefining the player-grip connection through advanced multilayer materials, superior tactile feel, and cutting-edge design.

Unlike most golf grips on the market, WMX focuses on materials and manufacturing processes that elevate both performance and aesthetics to an unprecedented level. Its technology leverages precision engineering to eliminate the need for secondary surface finishing, resulting in precise textures, consistent weights across styles, and a long-lasting “fresh” feel.

HYPER Grip

Leading the product line is the HYPER grip, crafted through an advanced six-step injection process. This grip features a structured inner layer to reduce swing torque and enhance stability. Its dual-color outer layer offers a softer surface finish, a distinctive wave-pattern texture for improved connection, and superior moisture control.

Designed with a 360º texture ensures a consistent feel across adjustable clubs and open-face greenside shots. HYPER grips are entirely free of paint and chemicals, currently available in 12 unique styles, with additional releases planned for 2025.

SUPER Grip

The SUPER grip utilizes a four-step injection process with a firm inner layer and a soft outer layer, designed to deliver exceptional rotational stability throughout the swing. A raised diamond texture in the upper-hand region adds extra stability and gripping power.

Like the HYPER model, the SUPER grip features a 360º design and avoids secondary processing, eliminating the weight and performance inconsistencies common in other grips. It is currently available in 8 distinctive styles.

Size Options

Both HYPER and SUPER grips are available in Standard and Undersize variations, with Midsize options slated for release in 2025.
