SCOTTSDALE, Arizona – Troon, the leader in providing golf and club-related leisure and hospitality services, is pleased to announce it has been selected to manage Grand Elk Golf Club, a semi-private club in Granby, Colorado, about 85 miles northwest of Denver.

Troon Golf, the resort and daily-fee division of Troon will manage golf operations, agronomy, food and beverage as well as sales and marketing.

Set in the scenic Middle Park region of Grand County with breathtaking views of the Continental Divide and Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Elk Golf Club features a beautiful Craig Stadler and Tripp Davis-designed 18-hole course.

The 7,144-yard, par 71 layout has sweeping views of vistas, meadows and the natural wetlands that form the headwaters of the Colorado River. When designing Grand Elk, Stadler and Davis were inspired by the inland courses of the British Isles with their low-lying vegetation and rolling terrain. The result is Grand County’s only “Heathland” style golf course showcasing Colorado’s rugged natural beauty.

“We’re proud to welcome Grand Elk Golf Club to the Troon family of managed clubs,” said Troon Senior Vice President of Operations Matt Molloy. “Long considered one of the top semi-private clubs in Colorado, Grand Elk is a wonderful property with a beautiful golf course, Grille and clubhouse. We look forward to enhancing the entire experience at Grand Elk.”

Open to daily-fee play May through October, Grand Elk also offers membership options for residents of the surrounding community. In addition to the beautiful 18-hole course, members and guests enjoy a spectacular clubhouse with a golf shop, The Grille restaurant, locker rooms, meeting rooms, a hot tub and a swimming pool.

“We are excited about the large array of resources that Troon will bring to Grand Elk and look forward to working with Troon to bring our club to the next level in the coming years,” said Grand Elk HOA President Joe Press.
