The clubhouse was inspired by the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright and hosts event space for up to 350 people as well as a full-service restaurant, indoor golf simulators and views of the Minneapolis skyline.
Thompson Golf plans to honor the legacy of the previous ownership group by making a host of additions and improvements, including a full-course bunker renovation project due to be completed later this year; GPS-equipped golf carts; expanded golf programs and camps for juniors; new public events such as couples nights, parent-child tournaments and influencer invitationals; additional golf instruction staff; and a new website and expanded social media presence.

Thompson Golf currently has six other courses under its purview in Arizona, Texas and Minnesota, and the Thompson family itself has roots in Alexandria, Minn. The Wilds will be managed by the Thompson Golf Management arm of the company.
