Acclaimed youth business breaks down golf’s barrier to entry.

LOS ANGELES, California (April 27, 2021) TGA Premier Sports (TGA), the go-to brand for introducing children to sports and the nation’s most prolific provider of in-school- and community-based youth golf enrichment and camp programs, has been recognized as a top low-cost franchise by Entrepreneur.

Ranked at No. 78, TGA is among those top franchises on Entrepreneur’s 2021 list that can be started for less than $50,000.

This esteemed compilation acknowledges franchise opportunities available for limited budgets, and the companies are positioned based on the scores they received in Entrepreneur’s 2021 Franchise 500 ranking – a comprehensive analysis that looked at 150+ data points in the areas of costs and fees, size and growth, franchisee support, brand strength, and financial strength and stability. TGA has been ranked in Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 since 2011.

“Having TGA included on this list is a testament to our franchise business owners who work hard every day to grow golf participation, and build a fulfilling career in their local community,” says Joshua Jacobs, CEO of TGA Premier Sports. “We’ve worked hard to drive the value proposition and infrastructure we provide our franchises, and the experience we deliver to our juniors and their families.”

TGA (Teach, Grow, Achieve) has become one of the nation’s most impactful developers of community-based golf programs for kids ages five to 13.

TGA has progressive levels for participants to graduate that sets the foundation for children to transition to other national golf initiatives, like Drive, Chip and Putt, PGA Junior League, LPGA*USGA Girls Golf, and Youth on Course, creating a pathway to becoming lifelong golfers. TGA will reach its one-millionth student in 2022.

TGA believes “Sports Change Lives” and its franchise owners bring a “think globally but act locally” mantra to their businesses. TGA’s golf programming is designed to create a passion for sport at an early age and encourage today’s youth to Keep Playing!®.
