2023 Diamond Awards recognize continuous on-course improvement

KENNESAW, Georgia – Thirty top performing golf courses have qualified for the prestigious 2023 Tagmarshal Diamond Awards, based on exceptional course performance and levels of on-course service, benchmarked by data.

Leading public, private, and resort facilities across the United States on the Diamond Award recipient list include Bandon Dunes (Ore.), Country Club at Castle Pines (Co.), Erin Hills Golf Course (Wisc.), Pinehurst Resort – Courses #2 and #4 (NC), The Quarry Club (Fla.), Pebble Beach (CA), Metropolis (NY), and others.

The awards, established in 2019 by on-course optimization expert Tagmarshal, reflect the commitment of operators to drive continuous on-course improvement at their facilities.

Another 150 clubs received 2023 Platinum and Gold Awards based on significant performance improvements, including enhanced player experience with effective pace, flow of play management, and optimization.

A complete list of all winners may be found here.

“We congratulate all award winners on their exceptional performances this year,” said Bodo Sieber, CEO, Tagmarshal. “These facilities have achieved stellar results, and their teams have delivered high-quality player experiences despite record demand and continued labor challenges.”

All Tagmarshal course partners are automatically considered for the awards, but only stellar results are recognized, based on performance benchmarks that shift higher each year. Criteria includes pace of play, pro-active on-course communication and service, the implementation of advanced strategies to optimize operations, efficiency and revenue, based on benchmarks and proprietary course data reviewed for a one-year period.

Facilities cited in Special Awards categories include:

Top Innovators: The Quarry Golf Club (Fla.), The Golf Club at Bradshaw Farm (Ga.)

Best Multi-Course Operators: Pinehurst Resort (NC), Advance Golf Partners

Biggest Movers: Hazeltine National Golf Club (Minn.), Glen Arbour Golf Course (Nova Scotia), Wee Burn Country Club (Conn.)

Best Newcomers: Terravita Golf & Country Club (Ariz.), Persimmon Ridge Golf Club (Ky.), Concession Golf Club (Fla.), Inshalla Country Club (Wisc.), Tierra Rejada Golf Club (Calif.)

Tagmarshal is the market leader in on-course optimization technology, and provides courses with full, real-time operational oversight and reporting. The software and resulting data give golf operators the tools to manage operations effectively, resulting in enhanced player experiences, increased efficiency, cost savings and additional revenue.
