Hardy carded eight consecutive birdies with Swag putter at recent Tour event, marking first time this feat has been achieved on PGA TOUR in more than a decade

CHICAGO, Illinois – Swag Golf is thrilled to welcome PGA TOUR player and rising star Nick Hardy as the newest addition to the Swag Golf ambassador family. After a breakout 2022 season, where he posted a top 15 finish at the US Open, Hardy joins the Swag ambassador lineup.

The ambassadorship is on the heels of an ongoing collaboration between Swag and Hardy to create a customized, precision-milled putter specific to Hardy’s game which started with an 8-year search for a putter shaft that was no longer in production.

The putter was included in Hardy’s bag at the recent 2022 World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba, where Hardy made 8 consecutive birdies – the first time this has been achieved on tour in more than a decade.

In addition to utilizing his Swag Prototype putter, Hardy and Swag will collaborate on various projects as he becomes the face of the company on the PGA TOUR. The partnership is a perfect match because in addition to a love of the game, Swag and Hardy share the same hometown of Northbrook, Illinois.

“We’ve long been searching for a PGA TOUR player to join the Swag ambassador team and a lot of thought went into identifying someone who embodies the Swag brand – Nick Hardy couldn’t be a more perfect fit. We look forward to continuing to support his play on the PGA TOUR and to demonstrate to the world what Chicago golf style is all about,” said Nick Venson, founder, Swag Golf.

Growing up in Northbrook, Illinois, the Midwest winters provided a unique challenge to the development of Hardy’s golf game by only allowing for outdoor play six months of the year – a stark contrast from traditional warm weather locations that permit year-round play.

Hardy spent years working to advance his skills, eventually playing collegiate golf for the men’s team at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. When Hardy turned pro in 2018, he continued to lean on experts to help him progress at the professional level.

“Throughout the course of my career, my success has been a team effort. I’ve never been shy about seeking out experts and masters of their craft in any area of my game. As I focused on ways to accelerate my putting, I searched long and hard for the right partner.

“A lot of brands make good putters, but what I was looking for was a true collaborator; a team that understands my needs and has the precision and excellence to bring a vision to life. Swag was the clear choice and they have made an immediate impact on my professional play,” said Nick Hardy, Swag Golf Ambassador.

Since 2018, Swag has built a loyal following and a hard-earned reputation for high-end precision putters, headcovers and accessories. The company’s limited-edition, premium product drops typically sell-out in mere minutes.

Hardy is the latest addition to Swag’s ambassador roster which also includes LPGA professional Anna Nordqvist, Instagram sensation Paige Spiranac, 3x World Series Champion Jon Lester and NHL right-winger Alex DeBrincat.Fans are encouraged to follow along for the latest company updates, product releases and ambassador signings at SwagGolf.com.
