Booking a tee time helps to provide academic scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen or disabled military service members and first responders

Supreme Golf (www.supremegolf.com), a leader in booking online tee times, announced today a partnership with Folds of Honor, a foundation that provides academic scholarships to the spouses and children of fallen or disabled military service members and first responders.

The round-up campaign, which is active now, encourages anyone reserving a tee time online or via its mobile app to round up the cost of the booking. The round up will be processed at checkout. All additional money will provide a donation to Folds of Honor.

“We are proud to support Folds on Honor and excited to bring a new fundraising opportunity to the table,” said Ryan Ewers, President of Supreme Golf. “By providing round-up capabilities for both of our audiences and a unique microsite that allows Folds to leverage our extensive inventory, we are excited to be a small part of the great work they are doing.”

Since its inception in 2007, Folds of Honor has awarded over 52,000 scholarships totaling about $244 million in all 50 states.

A total of 91 percent of all funds raised go to scholarships, and among the students served 45 percent are minorities and 57 percent women.

“We are grateful to the outstanding team at Supreme Golf and the patriotic players who round up for our recipients,” said Lt Col Dan Rooney, founder and CEO of Folds of Honor. “Golf has always played an integral role at Folds in Honor.

“Not only does this campaign provide life-changing funds, it also demonstrates that the sacrifices made by American heroes and their families are not forgotten.”
