SAN DIEGO, California — Sunday Golf, one of the leading golf bag manufacturers in the industry, officially unveiled their brand new line of youth golf bags for kids ages 5-12.

The Recess Kids Golf Bag series has two bag designs, one for golfers ages 5 – 8 and a larger model for kids ages 9-12 years-old. The new bags boldly mark the company’s first foray into the youth golf arena.

Weighing 3.6 and 4.3lbs, the bags are a lightweight carry option that also fit comfortably on a golf or push cart. Both bags can accommodate up to 8 clubs and include several staple features that are seen on the company’s other bags, including an insulated cooler pocket for drinks or lunches, velcro glove holder, elastic tee holder, velcro panel for patches and an external water bottle pocket.

“The best time to start golfing is when you’re a kid and we’ve designed these bags to have a completely different look and feel from other youth bags to date to inspire more youth golf,” said Ronan Galvin, CEO of Sunday Golf.

“Golf’s supposed to be fun no matter how old you are and we set out to design The Recess lineup to make the game more enjoyable and interesting to younger golfers at an affordable price. Whatever your age is, we now have a bag specifically for you.”

Built with Sunday Golf’s renowned standard of excellence and meticulous design, the Recess golf bags are made with 600D Nylon and come with a lifetime warranty.

“Having kids myself, I looked to incorporate features and design patterns that they like in non-golf products to make it a truly unique kids golf bag, while also remaining true to the Sunday Golf style,” said Michael Clark, Sunday Golf’s Head of Design. “We want to make golf just as fun and enticing as other sports and appealing to kids to get into the game early is what will make it a lifelong passion for them.”

The Recess bags are available for purchase online at sundaygolf.com in four different colors (Black & White Checkered, Pink & White Checkered, Olive & Black and Blue & White) and retail for $149.99.
