STEWART GOLF VERTX REMOTE TROLLEY ARRIVES IN U.S. MARKET

GLOUCESTER, United Kingdom – UK-based golf trolley manufacturer Stewart Golf has received its inaugural shipment of the brand-new VERTX Remote, what the company is calling the “ultimate remote machine.”

More than half of these award-winning electric carts arriving in the States are already sold. The new VERTX gives golfers total control of their trolleys from up to 100 yards away.

A world first in golf—Active Terrain Control (ATC)—is a sophisticated operating system that gives the user ultimate control of their trolley on any course, no matter how challenging its landscape and is the hallmark of the VERTX.

ATC allows VERTX to automatically redistribute power independently between twin super-charged motors depending on elevation grades. Unlike basic downhill braking, ATC keeps the VERTX travelling at a desired speed and direction—uphill, downhill, and on side slopes.

The innovative ATC system is powered by the new AP1 Cortex Microchip, which monitors power requirements from each motor up to 1,000 times per second. This new system also adjusts to different golf bags, allowing smoother response when holding a lightweight bag.

The VERTX also features Stewart Golf’s innovative integrated stabilizer, which automatically deploys and retracts when the VERTX is opened or closed. As the VERTX approaches a gradient, the stabilizer tilts back and continues driving up that hill.

In the VERTX, Stewart Golf debuts the longest range in the trolley market. Its second-generation SmartPower Lithium battery now provides enough power for 27 or 45 holes of operation. The plug-and-play battery offers users the ability to monitor usage and capacity in real time using the free Stewart Golf smartphone app.

Other ease-of-use features include ultra-compact folding for easy storage and transport, rated #1 by MyGolfSpy. A built-in handle allows for one-handed lifting. New 5S wheels provide increased traction for improved handling, while giving the VERTX an eye-catching new look.

The VERTX Remote will sell alongside the successful Q Follow and the iconic X10 trolleys, offering customers a choice between three models.

At launch, the trolley will retail from $1899 for either the Black or Carbon Edition. Every new VERTX Remote comes with Stewart’s industry-first, 100-hole money-back guarantee, offering golfers the chance to experience a Stewart dream machine completely risk free.

“Our development team has worked tirelessly to provide golfers with a distinctive, innovative remote trolley that truly enhances their game and helps us reach our goal to change how the world plays golf,” says Mark Stewart, CEO of Stewart Golf. “With the forward-thinking technology applied to the VERTX, we believe we have a machine that not only looks fantastic but performs at a level that sets itself apart from anything else out there.”
