HOUSTON, Texas – Stewart Golf, the preeminent manufacturer of the world’s best electric and push golf carts, has opened its first U.S. customer care center in Houston, Texas. The new location will look after all Stewart Golf customer-care inquiries, servicing, and repairs.

“We’re thrilled to be able to offer dedicated customer care and servicing to our U.S. customers,” said CEO Mark Stewart, who officially opened the new center alongside Stewart Golf Co-Founder David Funnell and Chairman Ross Stewart.

“Next to creating world class golf caddies, looking after our customers is the most important thing we do,” said Stewart. “Our team even changed their name from ‘customer services’ to ‘customer care’ to reflect how we think about this.”

In anticipation of the opening of the facility, the U.S. team spent a week at Stewart’s UK headquarters and factory in the Cotswolds. Members of the UK team will be frequent visitors to Houston, ensuring the two sites share the same vision, culture, and commitment to the customer.

At the same time, Stewart Golf has upgraded its distribution capabilities, opening a new shipping center in Nevada, reducing wait times for more than 90% of its U.S. customers.

Stewart Golf, launched in Great Britain in 2003, has experienced tremendous U.S. growth the last few years as interest in the game—and walking the course—have increased.  Stewart Golf is listed among the 100 fastest growing private UK companies by the Sunday Times (London).

“As well as a strong business in the UK, we export to more than 40 countries globally,” Stewart added. “The U.S. is the biggest golf market in the world and our single largest. Many U.S. golfers like to ride, but there are a huge number of walkers and many more who we think of as ‘walking curious.’

Stewart’s offerings include push carts, follow carts, including the flagship Q Follow, the X10 Follow, and the all-new VERTX Remote, the most intelligent remote caddie ever built, with patent-pending Active Terrain Control. All new golf carts come with a two-year warranty.

Among the many accolades and awards received by Stewart Golf are editor’s choice accolades in the United Kingdom from Golf Monthly and Today’s Golfer Magazines, as well as ACE Award by Golf Inc. for innovation, impact on transforming golf courses, and financials.
