2027 National Championship marks third appearance in Hot Springs, Arkansas, for collegiate club golf event
FRISCO, Texas – The PGA National Collegiate Club Golf Association (NCCGA) announced its National Championship will return to Hot Springs (Arkansas) Country Club, April 24-25, 2027.
“We look forward to bringing the PGA NCCGA National Championship back to Hot Springs Country Club next year,” said Kristi Egnot, Player Engagement Competitions Leader for the PGA of America. “The PGA NCCGA bridges a crucial gap for college students who aren’t on their school’s varsity roster but still want to stay connected to the game and compete on a national stage.
“We’re proud to offer a top-tier experience like this to collegiate club golfers from across the country.”
The PGA NCCGA National Championship features more than 200 collegiate club golfers for Individual and Team 36-hole stroke play competitions. The governing body for collegiate club golf, the NCCGA assists students in starting, maintaining and facilitating club golf tournaments regionally and nationally.

Located in Arkansas’s Ouachita foothills, Hot Springs Country Club features 36 holes of golf across its Arlington and Park courses. This marks the NCCGA’s third appearance at Hot Springs Country Club for its National Championship, previously hosting its 2017 and 2022 events at the facility.
The NCCGA operates four 36-hole tournaments in each of the 28 regions across the country each year. All tournaments are co-ed and open to full-time college students, and individual students can represent their schools if they don’t have the required five students to form a team.
Teams and individuals began competing in September in their regions for the opportunity to receive a bid to the National Championship.
Qualifiers include:
- • Top two (2) teams from each National Qualifier across the country
- • Top two (2) teams from the Pinehurst Open (to be held Dec. 5-6, 2026)
- • Highest nationally ranked teams not included in one of the automatic qualifiers
- • 2026 National Championship defending champions (University of Georgia)
- • Top individual students not otherwise on qualified teams
