Signing HBCU Kentucky State University and Johnson & Wales University golf programs
BUFFALO, N.Y. – OnCore Golf congratulates the Kentucky State University (NCAA DII) golf program on its outstanding 2022 season. The Thorobreds received golf balls, apparel and exclusive team discounts as part of their OnCore Golf partnership.
Kentucky State University had three impressive finishes while playing OnCore’s Tour-caliber, four-piece VERO X1 The Thorobreds won the Alice Lloyd Fall Invitational, finished second at the HBCU Invitational and had three members finish in the top 10 at the Heritage Hill Fall Collegiate.
“Since the Thorobreds have partnered with OnCore Golf, we’ve experienced success in all facets of the game,” said Mike Grugin, head coach. “From individual to team play, our golfers have seen improvement in distance and feel throughout the golf bag, which has led to exciting finishes throughout the 2022 season.”
Additionally, OnCore Golf will add Johnson & Wales University Charlotte (DIII) for the 2023 golf season. In 2022, Johnson & Wales men’s team claimed its first-ever men’s national championship. Details of OnCore Golf’s partnership with Johnson & Wales golf program include becoming the exclusive program ball sponsor and equipment provider. OnCore will also offer an exclusive team discount for the entire 2023 season for additional purchases to support the Wildcats golf program.
