Troon to lead golf and club operations at new community

ST. MARYS, Georgia – Taylor Morrison’s new Esplanade at St. Marys community in St. Marys, Georgia will introduce the Esplanade Resort Experience to the Greater Jacksonville market.

The beautiful 1,250-acre resort lifestyle community is scheduled to open for sales in early 2026 and will offer an array of signature resort-style amenities and wellness programs for residents. 

Troon, the leader in providing golf and club-related leisure and hospitality services, will manage golf and club operations at Esplanade at St. Marys and provide high-level white glove service for residents and their guests.

Esplanade at St. Marys will offer an elevated level of inspired living that invigorates the mind, body and spirit. Planned amenities include an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Christopher Wilczynski, ASGCA, of C.W. Golf Architecture; a pro shoppe and club food and beverage opportunities; resort-style pool and cabanas; Bahama Bar; Culinary Center; state-of-the-art fitness center; signature spa services; tennis, pickleball and bocce courts; a kayak launch with access to the St. Marys River; Bark Park; fire-side seating; walking trails and more. 

A full-time lifestyle manager will also be on site to bring residents together through lifestyle experiences and events that suit a range of interests. Troon’s expertise in resort operations, golf, food and beverage, and hospitality will complement Esplanade as the team elevates the experiences offered to residents and guests.

In July 2023, Taylor Morrison, one of the nation’s largest homebuilders, and Troon announced a multi-year partnership and the creation of Esplanade Resort Experiences, a new entity under the Taylor Morrison umbrella. With Esplanade Resort Experiences, a specialized team is dedicated to serving Esplanade residents with such things as world-class culinary experiences, wellness and sports programs, and other unique custom offerings such as having access to a national wine club and uniquely curated travel programs. 

The Esplanade Resort Experiences team is comprised of leadership with both developer and resort experience. Team members also have backgrounds in hospitality, wellness, food and beverage, marketing, communications, and concierge services. 

Located on the southern Georgia border, Esplanade at St. Marys will offer easy access to the attractions of both Florida and Georgia. Residents will enjoy close proximity to shopping, dining, entertainment, and top-rated schools, as well as transportation corridors that run north/south and east/west across the state including I-95, Hwy 17 and GA 40. 

The 1,300 single-family homes at Esplanade at St. Marys will range from 1,778 to 3,004 sq. ft. with 2-4 bedrooms, 2-3.5 baths, and 2-car garages. Sales are estimated to begin in early 2026.
