New course launches and repeat fleet agreements show ongoing demand for electric caddy solutions

LAS VEGAS – MGI Golf, global leader in technology for the walking golfer and maker of America’s No. 1 electric golf caddy for the second consecutive year, reported strong second-quarter growth, expanding electric caddy fleet agreements with new and returning club partners nationwide.

Among the highlights this quarter are Broomsedge Golf Club in South Carolina and Mapleton Golf Club in South Dakota, two highly anticipated course openings that selected MGI as their electric caddy provider. Both clubs prioritized the walking experience as part of their long-term vision and identified MGI’s electric caddies as a modern, tech-forward amenity to boost member engagement and distinguish their facilities from the start.

“Walking has always been at the heart of the game’s tradition, and we wanted to make that a part of the experience here at Broomsedge,” said Trevor Murphy, Broomsedge Golf Club Head Golf Professional. “Partnering with MGI was an easy choice. The MGI electric caddies will make it easier and more enjoyable for our members and guests to walk the course right from the start.”

The decision to debut with MGI reflects a wider industry trend. More clubs are increasingly integrating walking into the core of their course experience, not as an afterthought, but as a central part of how golf is played, enjoyed, and preserved. These new agreements further position MGI as the preferred partner for clubs aiming to modernize their operations and distinguish their member offerings.

“Clubs nationwide continue to adopt the shift toward walking and seek solutions that provide convenience, performance, and revenue-generating opportunities,” said Jennifer Maloy, MGI Fleet Program Manager. “Whether we’re working with a new club or expanding an existing relationship, we approach every fleet with a customized strategy that addresses the specific needs of the course, its members, and the overall operation.”

MGI also deepened relationships with existing partners this quarter. Olympic Hills Country Club advanced their electric caddy program with expanded fleet orders, following strong member adoption and successful integrations.

Through its Electric Caddy Fleet Program, MGI offers a fully customizable solution to enhance a premium walking experience. From model selection to order quantity and flexible financing options, each fleet is tailored to fit the unique profile of the club.

MGI recently launched its Fleet Leasing Program, providing a cost-effective alternative for clubs wanting to adopt electric caddies without a large upfront investment. The program features 24-month lease terms, with rates starting as low as $36 per caddy per month, subject to minimum order requirements and credit approval.

MGI electric caddy fleets are used at clubs worldwide, including The Royal Sydney Golf Club, Hong Kong Golf Club, Desert Mountain Club, La Jolla Country Club, and many more.
