California, Florida and Texas to host three pre-qualifying 54-hole competitions

DAYTONA BEACH, Florida – The Ladies Professional Golf Association announced the dates for LPGA Qualifying Series (Q-Series).

Beginning in 2025, there will be three regional Pre-Qualifying sites hosting 54-hole competitions from Sept. 23-26, with Qualifying contested in October and Final Qualifying in December. Entries will formally open on July 9, with finalized criteria updated here in early spring.

Pre-Qualifying (Sept. 24-26):

  • Location: Indian Wells Golf and Country Club in Indian Wells, Calif.
  • Location: LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla.
  • Location: Denton Country Club in Argyle, Texas

Qualifying (Oct. 15-18):

  • Location: Plantation Golf and Country Club in Venice, Fla.

Final Qualifying (Dec. 4-8)

  • Location: Magnolia Grove Golf Course in Mobile, Ala.

The number of players from each Pre-Qualifying site that will advance to Qualifying will be determined after the entry deadline and be based on the number of entries for each location.

Upon the conclusion of Final Qualifying, the top-25 finishers and ties will earn LPGA Tour cards for the 2026 season. In addition, all players completing Qualifying and/or Final Qualifying will earn Epson Tour eligibility for 2026.

“The changes to the LPGA Q-Series structure, specifically the Pre-Qualifying stage, were made based on feedback on timing and location. The three-site model for Pre-Qualifying accommodates players in different regions, minimizes wait time for athletes advancing from Pre-Qualifying to Qualifying and allows the LPGA to utilize one course for each competition to improve player preparation for the event,” said LPGA Senior Vice President of Tournament Operations, Tommy Tangtiphaiboontana.

“We are excited to enhance our Q-Series competitions through these updates, which align with our goal of providing the best players in the world adequate pathways to compete on the LPGA Tour.”
