LINCOLN, Nebraska – Landscapes Golf Management has been selected to manage Heritage Hunt Golf & Country Club in Gainesville, Va. and Lake Barrington Shores Golf Club in Lake Barrington, Ill., both governed by homeowners associations.

Both engagements were won in a national search with the HOAs citing Landscapes Golf Management’s track record of improving the trajectory of golf clubs within communities.

At the private, active-adult Heritage Hunt, the HOA sought to revitalize and expand golf programs to better serve evolving community interests.  With shifts in demographics and recreational interests, new strategies for member recruitment and enhancing current members’ experiences are required.

To achieve this, Landscapes Golf Management will leverage data and behavioral analysis to profile prospective members and create exciting programming for a more vibrant atmosphere, benefiting golf members and all community residents.

At the boutique golf club, Lake Barrington Shores, its HOA recently purchased the golf course and quickly recognized Landscapes Golf Management’s success operating clubs in Illinois.  The company will build a strong operations and agronomic team, re-open food-and-beverage operations, re-define turf management practices, upgrade marketing and operations technology, re-face the club website and other branding and communications vehicles, and roll-out new membership programs and daily-fee options for residents.

“It’s gratifying HOAs recognize our team’s success transforming clubs into highly active, financially successful businesses,” said Tom Everett, President of Landscapes Golf Management.  “Building teams and developing strategic playbooks, combined with crisply executed plans, result in achieving the objectives our clients have for their properties – that’s what it’s all about.”

About Heritage Hunt Golf & Country Club
Heritage Hunt is 20 miles southwest of Dulles International Airport.  Designed by renowned golf-course architect Arthur Hills, Heritage Hunt earns praise for its 18-hole, 7,033-yard, par-72 championship layout. Set among 750 acres of idyllic rolling hills and natural landscape, the course features several dramatic elevation changes.  Golfers’ journeys wend through hardwoods, pines and numerous cascading streams, ponds and natural wetlands, including historic Little Bull Run. With four sets of tees, Heritage Hunt is challenging for golfers of all abilities.

The magnificent, Colonial-style clubhouse showcases a grand lobby, multiple seating areas and an open-columned arcade that leads to a central domed area.  A rich mahogany lounge with beamed ceilings leads to the 120-seat restaurant.  A beautiful ballroom provides a perfect venue for large events such as weddings and anniversaries with seating for up to 330 participants.  A grand staircase winds to a lower lounge and an expansive lawn area with large, covered decks with views of the putting green and Bull Run Mountains.

About Lake Barrington Shores Golf Club
Fifty minutes northwest of downtown Chicago, Lake Barrington Shores features an 18-hole, 6392-yard, par-71 layout that is equal bark and benevolence for golfers high and low handicappers.  Golfers feel one with nature amid tree-lined fairways and sloped terrain, and then they meet hole No. 17 that presents a dastardly approach shot over a menacing lake.  Larry Packard, known for his design of the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort near Tampa that hosts PGA TOUR events, is the architect Lake Barrington Shores’ layout.

The gated community of more than 1,110 homes boasts a lodge, fishing, marina and beach, boating activities, sports complex, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts and trails.  Residents relish walking and jogging on the private, three-mile pathway around the 96-acre lake that winds through 36 acres of forest preserve.
