Celebrating the year’s most inspiring people, places, and innovations in golf lifestyle

NEW YORK NY  — With the release of the Winter 2025 Issue, Kingdom magazine proudly presents the Kingdom List 2025, an expanded and highly anticipated look at the premier new golf courses, destinations, innovations, and tastemakers from the past year.

Produced in partnership with Dewar’s Scotch Whisky, the List celebrates the people, places, and products redefining the modern golf game and elevating the lifestyle that surrounds it.

Selected through spirited discussion and deep expertise by Kingdom’s editorial team and an extraordinary group of panelists, the Kingdom List spans seven categories—Golf Courses, Gear, Travel, Dining, Life & Style, Game Changers, and Ones to Watch—capturing the stories, breakthroughs, and creative momentum that made 2025 a standout year in golf.

Notable entries include a long-awaited course in the Scottish Highlands, a game-changing resort in Costa Rica, bold new equipment breakthroughs, and the rising stars reshaping golf culture both on and off the course.

“The Kingdom List 2025 recognizes excellence across the golf lifestyle—the architects pushing boundaries, the players setting new standards on tour, and the finest new resorts, restaurants, and rare finds around the world,” said Bruce Wallin, executive vice president, content, North & Warren. “Our panelists brought tremendous insight and passion to the selection process, resulting in a diverse and dynamic collection of Kingdom favorites from 2025.”

This year’s panel features influential voices spanning golf, culinary arts, spirits, travel, and culture:

  • Geno Bonnalie, PGA Tour caddie
  • Samantha Brooks, travel and lifestyle editor and luxury hotel expert
  • David DeSmith, golf writer and global traveler
  • Gabriel Kreuther, chef, restaurateur, and two-Michelin-star talent
  • David McLay Kidd, acclaimed golf course architect and amateur pilot
  • Stephanie Mcleod, Dewar’s award-winning master distiller
  • Alexandra O’Laughlin, golf journalist, broadcaster, and Kingdom contributing editor
  • Annika Sörenstam, 10-time major champion, Hall of Famer, and entrepreneur
  • Roger Steele, content creator, businessman, and golf culture icon

As presenting sponsor for 2025, Dewar’s Scotch Whisky plays an integral role in celebrating the spirit of the List and the stories behind it.

“Dewar’s is delighted to present the 2025 Kingdom List,” said Peter Walker, brand manager, Dewar’s Scotch Whisky. “The List honors the active lifestyle surrounding golf—its great traditions, bold innovations, and the individuals who make the game so compelling.

“Every entry has a story, whether it’s a team building an extraordinary golf course, a designer creating game-changing equipment, or a chef elevating the après-golf experience. We raise a glass to all who inspire us.”

Throughout all seven categories, the Kingdom List 2025 highlights the narratives shaping today’s golf culture. As the sport continues to evolve, the Kingdom List remains a definitive measure of excellence—honoring the creators, visionaries, and groundbreakers who continue to push golf forward.

The full Kingdom List 2025 is available now in the Winter Issue of Kingdom magazine and on Kingdom.golf.
