Classic Pete Dye-design ranked No. 3 in Virginia’s ‘Best Courses You Can Play’

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Virginia – Keswick Hall, the acclaimed 600-acre luxury resort set in Virginia’s scenic Wine Country, announces its celebrated Pete Dye-designed golf course, Full Cry, is ranked No. 3 in Golfweek Magazine’s just-released 2023 list of “Best Courses You Can Play” in golf-rich Virginia.

Since opening in 2014 to glowing reviews including Golf Digest’s “Best New Courses” list, Full Cry has received the industry’s highest honors including sitting at No. 50 in Golfweek’s “Top 200 Resort Courses in the U.S.” Full Cry is also ranked No. 66 in Golfweek’s “Top 100 Courses You Can Play in the U.S.”

Keswick Hall has received the prestigious Golf Digest Editors’ Choice Award for “Best Golf Resorts in the Americas” for seven consecutive years.

Keswick Hall continues to be one of the most coveted resort destinations in the U.S. Under the direction and vision of owners Molly and Robert Hardie, Keswick Hall recently completed an impressive renovation touching almost every aspect of the luxury property. Highlights include an increase in the number of guest rooms from 48 to 80 as well as inspiring food and beverage outlets under the direction of acclaimed chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten who oversees the property’s culinary operations.

The resort’s new, luxurious Keswick Hall Spa offers a selection of holistic spa experiences thoughtfully curated to support mental, physical and emotional well-being with its tranquil setting in the picturesque  foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

“We are beyond thrilled that Pete Dye’s wonderful creation of our splendid Full Cry golf course continues to reside in the highest echelons of these coveted course ranking lists year-after-year,” says Robert Hardie. “In addition to our world-class golf amenities, we offer an unparalleled getaway experience with a wide array of fun, family activities and sterling amenities all ideal to play, relax and unwind on our beautiful, serene grounds.”

In addition to the opportunity to tee it up on Full Cry for its resort guests, Keswick Hall offers an exceptional private club experience highlighted by a convivial, family-friendly atmosphere. Keswick Club members enjoy numerous choice amenities in addition to the top notch golf.

The property’s new tennis facility provides members with access to seven tennis courts, including two featuring all-weather “Claytech European Red Clay” – a hybrid surface combining a durable hardcourt with the unique beauty and playability of clay courts.

Keswick Club’s new fitness center showcases state-of-the-art Technogym equipment, Peloton bikes, free weights, a personal training room with kinesis machines and weekly fitness classes. For members looking to relax and rejuvenate, the heated, adults-only Horizon Pool is open year-round and offers an expansive infinity edge with sweeping views of the surrounding area and a dramatic cascading waterfall.

Members and resort guests will also savor the use of Keswick Hall’s new Pavilion with its additional pool, Pool Bar & Grill, two pickleball courts, tennis shop and event space for special occasions.

The resort’s Club Grill is open for dining each day starting at 11 a.m. Members can relax in the comfortable dining room or take a table on the spacious outdoor terrace.
