RIDGEFIELD, Connecticut – Junior Golf Hub is proud to introduce its revolutionary ranking system, poised to transform the landscape of junior golf worldwide. Motivated by the goal of establishing a valid, simplistic, and global ranking system, Junior Golf Hub seeks to promote holistic development and foster a love for the game among young golfers.

“We knew we had to tackle the idea of rankings differently,” said Roger Knick, founder of Junior Golf Hub. “We received feedback from parents, tour directors, coaches, and junior golfers, all expressing concerns about existing ranking systems that seemed to discourage play rather than promote it.”

In response to a prevalent challenge within the junior golf community, where undue emphasis is often placed on outcomes and rankings, Junior Golf Hub is pioneering a paradigm shift. At the core of the new ranking system lies a set of principles designed to promote individual growth, reward play, and inspire a love for the game.

Driven by a commitment to continual improvement, Junior Golf Hub’s ranking system leverages cutting-edge technologies such as Machine Learning and Cloud Computing.

Proprietary algorithms provide a comprehensive assessment of each golfer’s performance — encompassing Course Performance, Field Performance, Top Finishes, Event Participation, and Scoring Average — ensuring top-tier players shine on the global stage.

Junior Golf Hub recently struck up partnerships with the Notah Begay III Junior Golf National Championship and LPGA legend, Annika Sörenstam. These collaborations have played a crucial role in the development of the ranking system, aligning with JGH’s mission to provide opportunities and resources for junior golfers worldwide.

“We are excited about the innovative ranking system developed by Junior Golf Hub,” said Notah Begay III, former PGA Tour player. “This partnership represents our shared commitment to promoting inclusion, growth, and development in junior golf. By encouraging participation and focusing on the journey rather than just the outcome, Junior Golf Hub’s ranking system aligns perfectly with our mission to provide all junior golfers the chance to be recognized.”

Junior Golf Hub is inviting all stakeholders, including Executive Directors, Junior Golf Directors, college coaches, and tournament associations, to join in shaping the future of junior golf rankings. Through direct collaboration with industry leaders and the thoughtful consideration of their feedback, significant strides can be made in fulfilling long-awaited expectations within the junior golf community.

“With an unparalleled commitment to the junior golf community, Junior Golf Hub stands as the ultimate destination for all things junior golf.
