LONDON, UK– IGTM (International Golf Travel Market), the leading global gathering for golf travel professionals, and the PGA Show, golf’s largest and longest-running international business event, have announced a new strategic partnership.
The collaboration aims to strengthen connections across the global golf ecosystem, from travel and tourism to retail and technology innovation.
Both events serve as central platforms for their respective international audiences—IGTM for destinations, tour operators, and travel suppliers, and the PGA Show for retailers, manufacturers, PGA of America Golf Professionals and industry leaders.
Through this new partnership, IGTM and the PGA Show seek to foster innovation, build relationships, spark new commercial opportunities, and support long-term, cross-sector growth.
“Golf travel plays a pivotal role in expanding the game worldwide,” said Fiona Ashton, Event Manager, IGTM. “Through this partnership, we’re building a more connected future – one that links PGA of America Golf Professionals, tour operators, suppliers, and tech innovators in ways that generate real business impact.”
Initial Joint Initiatives at IGTM 2025
The first initiatives shaped by this partnership will debut at IGTM 2025, taking place Oct. 20-23 in Cannes, France. Key program elements include:
- PGA of America Golf Professional Engagement – For the first time, select PGA of America Golf Professionals from top U.S. golf clubs— as identified and recruited through the PGA Show network—will be invited to participate in IGTM. These respected industry leaders, who collectively organize significant group travel experiences annually, will be offered select hosting benefits at the event. Their presence will provide valuable new opportunities for destinations, resorts, and travel providers to connect with key decision-makers in golf travel.
- The Discovery Zone – A new show floor feature highlighting emerging brands and technologies in golf travel, tech, apparel, and equipment. Inspired by innovations seen at the PGA Show, this area will spotlight fast-growing sectors and new product developments.
- Trend Data and Insight Collaboration – IGTM and the PGA Show will share industry insights and trend data to help inform programming, guide business planning and aid both events in serving evolving market needs.
Looking ahead, plans are also underway for IGTM to have a presence at the 2026 PGA Show in Orlando, Jan. 20-23, including curated content on the Clubhouse stage and a dedicated show floor feature—bringing golf travel into sharper focus for attending PGA Professionals and industry stakeholders.
“This partnership represents a natural evolution of our shared goals,” said Marc Simon, Event Vice President for PGA Golf Exhibitions (RX USA). “It enables us to engage more PGA of America Golf Professionals at IGTM, deepen our focus on innovation and insights, and strengthen ties with the European golf travel market—bringing new destinations to the PGA Show and elevating its presence in global golf tourism.”
IGTM and the PGA Show invite tour operators, destinations, PGA Professionals, suppliers, tech innovators, and media partners to take part.
