New national invitational and junior golf camp series are set to debut at Heritage Hills beginning Summer 2026
ORLANDO, Florida – The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour, the world’s largest multi-day junior golf tour, announced a new three-year partnership with Heritage Hills Golf Resort in York, PA that will deliver both championship-level competition and unforgettable family experiences for junior golfers nationwide.
At the heart of the collaboration is the launch of a new invitational tournament, 54-hole Mid-Atlantic Showcase at Heritage Hills, debuting July 1-3, 2026. The event will welcome top juniors from across the country to compete in a championship-caliber setting at one of Pennsylvania’s premier golf destinations.
Families will also enjoy a resort-style experience complete with accommodations, amenities, and exclusive tee gifts, making the event as memorable off the course as it is on it.
“Partnering with the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour allows us to showcase Heritage Hills as both a competitive destination and a home for player development,” said Nate Blanchette, Director of Player Development at Legacy Golf Academy and Heritage Hills Resort. “Our goal is to create an environment where juniors not only compete at the highest level but also grow their skills, build confidence, and form lifelong memories with their families.”
As part of this exciting partnership, the Legacy Junior ELITE Summer Camp Series powered by HJGT will launch in Summer 2026. These overnight camps, held at the beautiful Heritage Hills Resort, are expected to welcome over 500 junior golfers each year. By combining HJGT’s national platform with Legacy’s proven expertise in player development, the camp series offers a unique opportunity for young athletes to sharpen their skills, build confidence, and connect with peers in a positive and structured environment.
Designed with future goals in mind, Legacy Junior ELITE camps focus not only on improving on-course performance but also include a specialized recruiting curriculum, ideal for families with student-athletes aspiring to compete at the collegiate level.
“We are excited to join forces with Heritage Hills Resort to bring both world-class competitive and first-class developmental opportunities to junior golfers,” said Rex Grayner, Senior Vice President of Business Development at the HJGT. “This partnership represents a shared commitment to growing the game and providing families with experiences that go beyond the leaderboard.”
Running through August 2028, the partnership will unite the competitive spirit of the HJGT with the family-centered environment of Heritage Hills, ensuring every player and parent walks away with memories that last a lifetime.
