TEMPE, Arizona – GOLF+, the leading virtual reality (VR) golf game on the Meta Quest platform, has released Grass Clippings Rolling Hills golf course, offering players worldwide the opportunity to experience night golf on a fully lit 18-hole, par-54, par-3 course.

With the help of a Meta Quest headset users can now engage in immersive, under-the-lights play at the renowned Tempe, Ariz. venue.

The virtual rendition of Grass Clippings Rolling Hills provides detailed and realistic environments, allowing for full-round play that mirrors the unique nighttime golf experience of the actual course. This addition enhances GOLF+’s portfolio, delivering diverse and authentic golf experiences to gamers.

“Our players have been asking for night golf for a long time, and Grass Clippings Rolling Hills is such a perfect example of what makes that experience special,” said Ryan Engle, GOLF+ co-founder and CEO. “Grass Clippings has created something that feels modern, social, and genuinely fun, and that lines up really closely with what we’re building at GOLF+. We’re excited to be able to introduce our community to a place like this.”

Grass Clippings Rolling Hills, Arizona’s first fully illuminated 18-hole golf course, has become a popular destination for golfers seeking nighttime play. The course features 78 LED lights, enabling play until midnight, and offers panoramic views of downtown Tempe, Sky Harbor Airport, downtown Phoenix, the Phoenix Zoo, and the Papago Buttes.

“This partnership reflects how the game of golf is evolving. We’re seeing growth not just in traditional formats, but in new, technology-driven experiences that bring more people into the game,” said Grass Clippings Co-Founder Jake Hoselton. “GOLF+ is at the forefront of that movement, and to have Grass Clippings Rolling Hills become the first lighted course added to the platform is something truly special. It connects our course to a global audience in a really exciting way.”

GOLF+, recognized as the exclusive VR golf game of the PGA TOUR, collaborated with Grass Clippings Rolling Hills over the past year to accurately recreate the course’s distinctive features and ambiance. This partnership underscores GOLF+’s commitment to providing players with realistic and engaging virtual golfing experiences.

GOLF+ is available for download on the Meta Horizon Store.
