Includes premium lines from Scotty Cameron, Callaway, TaylorMade, PING and more

RALEIGH, North Carolina (May 14, 2019) – Global Value Commerce, owner and operator of the world’s largest e-commerce platform for new and pre-owned golf gear, has added putters and wedges from PING, Callaway, TaylorMade, Titleist, Scotty Cameron, Cleveland and Odyssey to its popular U-try club trial program available through GlobalGolf.com.

Golfers across America have turned to U-try in droves since the service launched last year to experience a risk-free way to test the latest equipment from the most respected brands. The new offerings include popular models from Titleist’s Scotty Cameron and Vokey lines, as well as Callaway’s Mack Daddy, Odyssey’s Stroke Lab and more. By adding putters and wedges, players can now try a full bag of equipment from the game’s top manufacturers.

Consumers simply select the club(s) they would like to test on globalgolf.com/u-try and the company ships them for a small trial fee per club. Within 14 days, customers either keep the clubs and pay the current list price – less the trial fee – or return them with a prepaid shipping label. Drivers, fairway woods, hybrids, wedges and putters from the aforementioned brands each carry a trial fee of $25 per club. Full iron sets can be tested for $100.

“We know buying golf equipment can be a sizeable investment, so the goal with U-try is to make sure our customers are totally comfortable with the clubs they end up purchasing,” says Ed Byman, CEO of GVC. “The program has been wildly successful over its first year, and now with the addition of putters and wedges, our customers can test products in any category to determine what is best for them.”

GVC has again innovated in golf, offering a try-and-buy program similar to major online and brick-and-mortar retailers s in apparel, jewelry, art, home décor and other categories.
