SAN DIEGO, California/MEXICO CITY, Mexico  — Future Champions Golf and the Mexican Golf Federation are proud to announce an expanded partnership for 2026 that will further grow junior golf opportunities across Mexico and North America.

The FCG Mexico Series will expand from four to eight events in 2026, featuring a qualifying event in each FMG regional zone. These new events will be hosted by the FMG Zone Directors, with the champion of each age division earning an exemption to compete in the 2026 FCG Callaway World Junior Golf Championship—an event that has quickly become one of the premier annual tournaments in junior golf. In 2025, the championship welcomed 751 players from 41 countries competing on 11 championship courses.

In addition to the expanded series, the organizations have announced the creation of a new international team event—the Three Nations Cup—set to debut over Presidents’ Weekend 2026. The event will feature eight top junior players from Mexico competing against elite teams from the United States and Canada, marking a new era of competitive collaboration among North American junior golf programs.

“Partnering with the Mexican Golf Federation to expand our series is a tremendous milestone,” said Chris Smeal, President and Founder of Future Champions Golf. “Mexico has produced so many talented junior players, and we’re excited to create even more pathways for them to compete on a world stage while strengthening the connection between our countries through the game we love.”

“We are thrilled to deepen our relationship with Future Champions Golf,” added Eric Aguirre, President of Junior Golf for the Mexican Golf Federation. “This collaboration gives our players incredible opportunities to test their skills internationally and be part of something that continues to elevate junior golf throughout the Americas.”

Stay tuned for the full 2026 FCG Mexico Series schedule, which will be announced soon.
