DEARBORN, Michigan and DAYTONA BEACH, Florida – Ford Motor Company and the LPGA have announced a new multi-year partnership that goes beyond traditional sponsorship to invest directly in the future of women’s golf.
As the new Official Vehicle of the LPGA Tour, Ford is launching the “Power Her Drive” mentorship program, an initiative designed to support the professional and personal development of athletes early in their careers.
“At Ford, we believe in the power of human capability and potential,” said Lisa Materazzo, chief marketing officer, Ford Motor Company. “By teaming up with the LPGA Tour in a completely new way, we’re not just sponsoring tournaments, but we’re investing in the careers and futures of the next generation of professional athletes.”
“I couldn’t be more proud of this partnership, and I can’t wait to see where it takes us, and the incredible athletes in the years ahead,” Materazzo added.
This expanded partnership builds on the relationship established in 2024, combining Ford’s belief in human potential with the LPGA’s mission to elevate women and girls. Rather than focusing solely on brand visibility, Ford will utilize its status as Official Vehicle to provide resources, career coaching, and leadership development to rookies and second-year players, ensuring their success extends beyond the course.
“Ford has already been an incredible partner to the LPGA, and this new agreement represents a meaningful expansion of that relationship,” said LPGA Commissioner Craig Kessler. “From their commitment as a tournament title sponsor to their broader investment in our athletes and our platform, Ford shares our belief in access, opportunity, and long-term impact.
“We’re proud to build on this partnership as we work together to support today’s athletes and help shape the future of the game.”
The Power Her Drive program will serve as a year-round resource for athletes navigating the transition to professional sports supported by Ford and focused on LPGA athletes in the first two years of their professional careers.
Designed to invest in the whole athlete, the program will provide participants with access to mentorship, professional development and resources intended to support long-term success both during their competitive careers and beyond.
As part of the partnership, Ford will serve as a presenting partner of LPGA storytelling initiatives that highlight athlete journeys, perseverance, and the pursuit of dreams. Through original digital and social content distributed across LPGA platforms, the collaboration will showcase how shared values of resilience, confidence and belief connect Ford and LPGA athletes both on and off the course.
Ford has served as title partner of the Ford Championship presented by Wild Horse Pass since 2024. The 2026 Ford Championship will be contested March 26–29 at Whirlwind Golf Club’s Cattail Course.
Additional details on these partnership activations and initiatives will be announced throughout the season.
