WEST PALM BEACH, Florida and LONDON, England —Women’s Golf Day founder Elisa Gaudet was amongst the experts invited to share their insight at the PGA’s annual international conference last week.
The event, which returned to the beautiful beachfront property of Laguna Phuket in Thailand, brought together PGA Members and delegates from all over the world.

The theme for this year’s conference was ‘Driving Success through Innovation & Technology’ with speakers emphasizing the role that women’s golf, sustainability and AI can play in elevating the golf experience and creating commercial longevity.
“When times are hard at golf venues, people immediately turn to the women’s market as an open goal opportunity, but the time to promote golf to them is today,” comments Gaudet.  “The delegates I spoke with are all passionate about providing the best experience for their customers, including women and girls, which is extremely heartening.  They see the commercial benefit of investing in and promoting golf to women and we will do everything we can to help PGA Members achieve their ambitions.”
Following the event, Wayne Johnson, Regional Manager – International, at the PGA commented, “This is a great opportunity for PGA members and industry professionals to learn and network. It’s an opportunity for us to bring in experts from diverse fields of the industry to share knowledge and best practices.”
PGA Chief Executive Robert Maxfield was also in attendance at the conference, providing an update on PGA activities and sharing exciting plans for the future, including insights into the Association’s direction for 2025 and beyond.  In addition to the education element and the chance to learn from golf industry experts, the event afforded delegates plenty of networking opportunities including golf, where Elisa was impressed to find an all-women caddy crew.
“This was my first time in Phuket, and it’s been a wonderful experience,” concluded Gaudet. “The conference was held at the Angsana Laguna and Banyan Tree, both Banyan Group properties, and they did not disappoint. The conference was full of insights and I look forward to working with many of the attendees to provide Women’s Golf Day events this year, and in years to come.”
