On-course data to enhance golf’s largest online coaching platform, acclaimed PGA coaches Ward, Proudman named Arccos ambassadors

STAMFORD, Connecticut– Arccos, the pioneer of big data and Artificial Intelligence for golf, recently announced that it has partnered with Me and My Golf and signed acclaimed PGA coaches Piers Ward and Andy Proudman as Arccos Ambassadors in a strategic relationship that will see on-course data incorporated into the game’s largest online coaching platform to facilitate even faster improvement.

As part of this program, Me And My Golf members will have the opportunity to receive a free set of Arccos smart sensors and a free trial membership to the award-winning Arccos Caddie app. Similarly, Arccos members will gain special access to Me And My Golf coaching plans.

“Piers and Andy have created a highly effective coaching platform and huge library of instruction content that’s served to a global community of more than a million golfers,” said Sal Syed, Arccos CEO and Co-Founder. “This partnership continues our vision to extend the power of on-course data to all aspects of the golf industry, be it equipment, fitting, course strategy or coaching.”

Golf’s first Artificial Intelligence platform, Arccos Caddie automatically tracks your shots while delivering in-round insights and personalized Strokes Gained analytics for every game facet and each club in your bag. The system is highlighted by an A.I.-powered rangefinder, smart club distances and caddie advice for every golf hole on earth. These innovations helped new Arccos members who played at least 10 rounds lowered their handicap index by an average of 5.78 strokes in 2021.

“Over the past few years, we’ve had more and more students become Arccos members and independently use their on-course data and strokes gained analytics to inform which Me And My Golf coaching plans they select,” said Piers Ward, Co-Founder of Me And My Golf. “Through this relationship, we’re working to streamline that process to help them improve even faster.”

Me And My Golf is focused on providing accessible, affordable, high-quality lessons to players of all skill levels who are looking to achieve and exceed their personal performance goals. With a community of 1.5 million subscribers and followers on social media, Me And My Golf’s other partners include TaylorMade Golf, adidas Golf, Audi and Audemars Piguet.

“There are such great synergies between our goals-focused coaching plans and Arccos’ personalized strokes gained analytics,” said Andy Proudman, Co-Founder of Me And My Golf. “We are so excited to be working together to help our mutual and respective members play the best golf of their lives.”

Arccos members have recorded more than 10 million rounds and 525 million shots while playing courses in 194 countries. This feeds the world’s largest on-course dataset, now including over 35 billion separate data points, which powers Arccos’ industry-leading Strokes Gained engine that allows a player to select their personal handicap goal, then provides personalized analysis for every game aspect and each club in the bag.

The company’s recent releases include New Gen 3+ Smart Sensors, Link Gen 2 and a groundbreaking golf ball data capture system. This represents the initial step in Arccos’ process of analyzing how a player’s ball selection may impact every aspect of their game, from equipment choices to club selection to in-play strategy.

The Arccos Caddie system and the Arccos Link wearable are permitted under the Rules of Golf (USGA Decision Numbers 2018-0414 and 2020-0305).
