Arccos Introduces Its Most Significant App Update, Giving Every Golfer Their Own PGA TOUR Performance Team

STAMFORD, Connecticut — Arccos, the world’s largest on-course tracking system and leader in connected AI golf products, and the Official Game Tracker of the PGA TOUR,  has announced the launch of its entirely reimagined mobile application.

The most significant upgrade of the Arccos analytics experience in nearly six years, this redesign transforms Arccos from a premium tracking tool into an active, prescriptive performance engine.

The new Arccos app does far more than show golfers what happened; it now tells them why and exactly how to gain a competitive edge.

For decades, the specialized analysis that PGA TOUR professionals rely on has been unavailable to everyday golfers: personalized practice plans, data-driven course strategy, real-time performance feedback.

Tracking on-course data has always been one challenge; translating millions of data points into a clear, actionable improvement roadmap has been an even greater one. Arccos closes that gap by introducing an LLM-powered AI layer that synthesizes each player’s performance history to generate tailored practice drills, structured warm-up routines, and dynamic course strategies in real time.

“This isn’t an incremental update. We’ve rethought every aspect of the analytics experience,” said Sal Syed, CEO and Co-Founder of Arccos Golf. “When I first started Arccos, I always dreamed we would go from capturing data and showing golfers what happened on the course, to telling them exactly what to do next to improve their game. With this new update, we are finally there.

“By leveraging advanced AI, we are effectively giving each Arccos member their own PGA TOUR performance team. It’s like having a caddie, a coach, a sports psychologist, and an analyst in your pocket, with sophisticated insights and individual improvement plans that were always inaccessible to the everyday golfer.”

The new app delivers that promise across every dimension of the game. A redesigned Player tab analyzes scoring trends, with Strokes Gained broken out across Driving, Approach, Short Game, and Putting. It pinpoints exactly where the next stroke is hiding, generates a short list of focus areas, and a personalized practice plan for your chosen focus area.

After every round, an AI-generated summary captures standout shots, scoring trends, and what really made the difference, with Strokes Gained now available down to the individual shot level for the first time.

The post-round experience is grounded in positive sports psychology, surfacing milestones and career triumphs alongside a Practice Focus Area with specific drills. New shot dispersion charts give players a visual picture of every club in the bag, and an entirely new Courses tab maps every course ever played with hole-by-hole highlights and Course Insights.

On the Start Round tab, a pre-round warmup routine is generated in real-time from the player’s own data, to help prepare for the next round.

Powering these features is the Arccos platform’s unmatched dataset: more than 1.5 billion tracked golf shots, 25+ million rounds, and AI trained on 4 trillion data points across 160+ countries.

On average, Arccos members lower their handicap by 25% in year one and hit approach shots 14.9 feet closer to the pin. The new app is available now to all iOS users.
