CARLSBAD, California — ARETERA Golf expands its newest line of performance woods shafts: the AO2, with the globally anticipated ultra-light profile. Engineered for stability first, players looking to maximize their speed can now experience the best of both worlds: velocity and control.

The new AO2 35 Blue is available in three flexes, 2, 3 and 4 boasting best-in-class torque (5.2º, 5.1º, and 4.9º respectively). A high resistance to twist translates to improved consistency and forgiveness from off center contact.

“The design space for a wood shaft in this ultralight category is extremely tight. To achieve the performance design goals while assuring strength and durability within such thin walls requires precise attention to detail. This is where the attributes of our Coreless Design and PowerGrid really differentiate AO2 Blue 35 from the rest of the featherweight options, offering unmatched and surprising stability. When speed meets stability, you unlock the ability to swing freely and hit more fairways.” — Alex Dee, Cofounder

AO2 stands in a class of its own with intelligent design, fine-tuned craftsmanship, and meticulous manufacturing. Active in the handle and firm mid to tip, the AO2 converts premiere engineering into shot repeatability.

Key Features of AO2 Blue 35:

  • Premium Materials: We utilize premium, ultra-high modulus, exotic fibers including the use of a proprietary blend of fibers woven into a flat, spread tow weave called POWERGRID™ – delivering unmatched stability without adding weight.
  • Advanced Architecture: Our Coreless Design eliminates the industry standard of a bias core and instead integrates bias plies throughout the shaft wall from the inside out providing inertial balance between bending stiffness and torsional stability.
  • Build Precision: Our fine-tuned engineering techniques, utilizing up to 4 times as many material plies, yield a balanced, concentric and consistent product.

ARETERA AO2 woods shafts are now available through leading fitting partners and specialty retailers.
