Instruction-led programming, junior competition, and expanded membership access strengthen the connection between year-round training environments and on-course play.

NEW YORK, NY — Five Iron Golf, the global leader in indoor golf and entertainment, is expanding its player development offerings this spring with initiatives designed to help golfers improve more consistently and transition seamlessly from structured practice environments to on-course play.

Through instruction-led programming, expanded junior competition, and enhanced membership benefits, Five Iron continues to strengthen the connection between modern training environments and traditional golf.

Spring Tune-Up Builds on Structured Instruction Program

Five Iron Golf’s Spring Tune-Up provides golfers with a structured evaluation designed to establish performance benchmarks ahead of peak golf season. Led by PGA- and LPGA-certified instructors, sessions leverage Trackman data and multi-angle swing capture to deliver measurable insight into ball flight tendencies, distance gapping, dispersion patterns, and overall performance consistency.

Positioned as a seasonal tune-up for players preparing to return to the course, the offering helps golfers translate indoor practice into on-course performance as outdoor play ramps up.

By maximizing limited practice time during the workweek, Spring Tune-Up supports more efficient preparation for league play, competitive events, and recreational rounds alike.

The program complements Five Iron’s broader instruction and club fitting services, helping players refine both swing mechanics and equipment setup ahead of the busiest stretch of the golf calendar.

PGA Jr. League Pilot Expands Youth Development Programming

Five Iron Golf will host its first PGA Jr. League pilot season at its Rockefeller Center location, expanding on the company’s existing junior instruction programming and introducing a structured team-based competition format for players ages 7–13.

The five-week season includes coached practices and weekend matches utilizing the official PGA Jr. League format, emphasizing skill development, collaboration, and on-course readiness through a two-person scramble structure.

The pilot builds on Five Iron’s established junior programming and leverages the company’s footprint across the New York City market, where multiple locations provide consistent access to coaching and practice opportunities for young players.

“PGA Jr. League provides a nationally recognized framework for youth development that aligns with Five Iron’s instruction-led approach,” said Will Martindale, Director of Instruction, Five Iron Golf NYC, who leads junior coaching initiatives across the New York market. “The team format helps young players progress from practice to on-course play and has the potential to scale across our locations over time.”

Green Grass Pass Extends Membership Experience to Private and Championship Courses

Originally introduced in 2025, Five Iron Golf’s Green Grass Pass expands the company’s membership offering by providing preferred access and preferred rates at a curated network of private clubs and notable courses, including select championship venues and professional tour stops.

Designed to extend the value of membership beyond simulator practice, the benefit creates additional opportunities for members to test their games on a variety of courses, experience different playing conditions, and connect with fellow members through shared on-course play.

Together with instruction, league participation, and structured practice, Green Grass Pass reinforces membership as a platform for ongoing improvement.

“Our goal is to create clearer ways for golfers to improve with intention and confidence,” said Mike Doyle, Co-Founder of Five Iron Golf and a Golf Digest Best Young Teacher and Best Teacher in New York. “By connecting instruction, practice, and on-course opportunities, we’re helping players build skills that translate more effectively to real playing conditions.”

Doyle recently hosted Five Iron Golf’s Coach Summit, bringing together instructors from across the company’s national footprint alongside leading teaching professionals to collaborate on coaching frameworks, practice design, and performance benchmarking, reinforcing Five Iron’s continued investment in instruction-led player development.

Five Iron Golf operates more than 40 locations across major U.S. markets and internationally, with corporate headquarters in New York City, where the company maintains one of its largest concentrations of venues.

Upcoming openings in Fort Worth and Coral Gables will mark the company’s first locations in Texas and Florida, with continued international expansion planned across the Middle East and Europe, including future locations in the U.K., Spain, and Portugal.
