SCOTTSDALE, Arizona – Troon, the leader in providing golf and club-related leisure and hospitality services, is pleased to announce it has been selected to manage Hunting Hills Country Club, a private club in Roanoke, Virginia.

Troon will oversee club operations, agronomy, food & beverage, and membership sales and marketing.

Located in the picturesque foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Hunting Hills is a member-owned club with an array of amenities including an 18-hole championship golf course, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, pickleball courts, a swimming pool and splash pad, a fitness center, and a kids’ club. The club has a very active junior golf program, swim teams, as well as themed summer camps and junior sports camps.

“Hunting Hills is on an amazing trajectory over the last five years, and we have been able to invest in several programs and capital projects that have really improved the member experience,” said Hunting Hills Country Club President Stanley Hays. “Our recent upgrades include a fitness center remodel, locker room remodel, new pickleball courts, LED lighting in our indoor tennis facility, and a brand-new pool and splash pad.

“Additionally, our golf course and dining options have been top-notch and very consistent.  We ultimately decided that a partnership with Troon was the best path for us to capitalize on the strengths of Hunting Hills and ensure we become the best country club in the Roanoke Valley.”

Hunting Hills Country Club

Established in 1971, Hunting Hills Country Club’s golf course was designed by Raymond F. Loving, Jr., and presents an engaging challenge for golfers of all skill levels. The 6,058-yard, par 70 course meanders up and over hills with tree-lined fairways and perched greens.

“We are excited to partner with Hunting Hills Country Club,” said Troon Vice President of Operations Justin Smith. “Hunting Hills has a storied history, and we are honored to be part of the next chapter. We can’t wait to welcome all current and future members to the club.”

Hunting Hills Country Club members enjoy multiple dining options, including a clubhouse restaurant, The Hills lounge and a seasonal poolside bar and grill. Event space includes a ballroom that can accommodate up to 150 guests, an expansive patio with capacity for over 300 guests, or the more intimate Clubroom for smaller gatherings and events.
