LAKE MARY, Florida   – The International Network of Golf is currently conducting the 32ndAnniversary version of its ING Media Awards, with a deadline of Oct. 11.

The non-profit International Network of Golf conducts the contest to recognize the best and brightest among its media members. For new members, there is a special limited-time offer: join now at a discounted membership rate and receive three months free.

This means new members will be eligible to enter both the 2025 and 2026 ING Media Awards competitions under this promotion. (The membership form may be found at https://inggolf.com/join. )

Rather than clipping and copying articles from the publications, writers will log onto www.inggolf.com, click on Media Awards, and complete the entry form there, including the link to the entry.

Of the categories in the ING Media Awards, seven are for writers, including Feature Writing. That category is for stories that do not fit into any of the remaining writing categories: Travel Writing, Business Writing, Opinions/Editorials, Profile Writing, Equipment/Apparel Writing and Competition Coverage.

Other categories include Excellence in Publications, Video (Short and Long form), and Audio (Short and Long Form).

Judging is done by a panel of three independent experts in each category. Judges are selected by Individual Category Chairs. Where possible, by-lines and publication names are stripped from the articles before they are sent to the judges.

Winners will be announced and honored at the ING Media Awards Presentation Press Conference in January at the PGA Merchandise Show. Rules, regulations, category descriptions, entry forms, and past winners can be found under Awards on the www.inggolf.com site.

ING is the golf industry’s only media-based networking organization. “ING is where media and the golf industry connect.”

The ING Fall Forum is scheduled for Nov. 18-21 at Inn On The Lakes in Sebring, Florida. Product demonstrations, marketing seminars, roundtable discussions and golf competitions are all on the schedule.
