Sierra Golf Management has added three more California courses to its portfolio, bringing its total to 16 properties statewide. The company’s latest acquisitions include Avondale Golf Club in Palm Desert, Ripon Golf Club in Ripon, and Castle Oaks Golf Club in Ione.

With nearly 30 years of experience in golf course operations, Sierra Golf focuses on revitalizing and repositioning properties as premier golf destinations.

“Our mission has always been to deliver exceptional golf experiences through great service, meticulous course conditions, and thoughtful management,” said Dan Bacci, chief operating officer of Sierra Golf Management. “These facilities reflect our vision, and we’re confident in our ability to help each course reach its full potential.”

Avondale GC in Palm Springs

Avondale Golf Club, a private club in Palm Desert, features a par-72, 6,782-yard course designed by Jimmy Hines. SGM plans to elevate service, agronomic practices and member value while preserving the club’s strong community culture.

In California’s Central Valley, Ripon Golf Club offers public and member tee times on its 18-hole layout. Under an agreement with the City of Ripon, SGM will focus on course conditions, customer service and event programming.

Castle Oaks Golf Club, located in the Sierra Nevada foothills, is surrounded by mature oaks and sits near historic Preston Castle. SGM will enhance the property with improved course conditions, updated technology and upgraded food and beverage options. The course will remain public and continue to serve the local community.
