CHARLESTON, S.C.  — The National Golf Course Owners Association is excited to announce its 30th annual Multi-Course & Resort Operators Retreat in Monterey, Calif. on June 24-25.

More than 100 owners and operators of six or more golf courses, along with executives from golf management companies (MCOs) and top resort operators and executives (TROs) will gather at the Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa for two days of unparalleled knowledge sharing, exceptional networking opportunities and organized relaxation.

What began in 1995 as an informal meeting among five leading golf executives in a Lake Nona Golf & Country Club locker room, has evolved into a premier annual event for the most influential golf course operators and management leaders in the country.

This year, the NGCOA is pleased to welcome representatives from nearly 1,600 courses and resorts nationwide. MCOR continues to be the pinnacle event for top executives in the golf course and golf resort business.

During the retreat, attendees will engage in education, discussions and collaborations about the most significant and high-level issues in the golf business and industry. The co-chairs of MCOR25 — Whitney Crouse, CEO and Founding Partner of Bobby Jones Links, and John Brown, CEO of GreatLIFE Golf — worked in tandem with NGCOA’s Education Department to identify session topics and speakers that address the attendees’ business interests.

These sessions will provide best practices and proven strategies for tackling the critical challenges facing the golf industry today.

Charlie Rymer, Executive Vice President at McLemore Club, will serve as the Master of Ceremonies for MCOR25. The Wednesday morning education session will feature presentations from Michael Dominguez, President and CEO of Associated Luxury Hotels International, focusing on travel and hospitality KPIs, and Ryan Magnon, Senior Operations Executive at Chick-fil-A Inc., discussing how to elevate customer service culture.

The concurrent Top Agronomic Officer (TAO) meeting will cover topics such as turf technology, equipment and tariffs, electric and autonomous mowers, employee labor issues, safety, compliance and risk mitigation, as well as bunker renovation techniques.

The afternoon presentations will feature an Expert Panel moderated by Michael Williams, a contributor to Golf Business. This panel includes Phil Cotton, CEO of Nicklaus Companies; Bob Farren, Director of Grounds and Course Maintenance at Pinehurst Resort; and Brian Vitek, COO of Landscapes Unlimited.

Following that, a closing Executive Panel will be moderated by Rachel Carter, Senior Director of Membership at the NGCOA. This panel will feature CEOs Jim Hinckley from Century Golf Partners; David Pillsbury from Invited; and Tim Schantz from Troon.

In the closing interview session, NGCOA CEO Jay Karen will share the stage with two-time major champion and World Golf Hall of Fame member Greg Norman. Norman will share insights from his illustrious career on the golf course and discuss how he built a global brand that has sparked innovation within the industry. He will also take questions from the MCOR25 audience to wrap up the event.

NGCOA expresses its gratitude for the support, energy and engagement of 29 generous and dedicated sponsors including Premier Sponsor Yamaha, Executive Partners Club Caddie, Pepsi, PGA of America, Rain Bird, Tagmarshal, and Toptracer, Presenting Sponsors CapillaryFlow, Entegra, foreUP, Golf District, IOA, John Deere, Lightspeed, Noteefy, on!, Paychex, Roboranger, SKIM Turf Management, Sunbelt Rentals, Syngenta, TenFore Golf, Toro, and USGA Green Section, and Participating Sponsors FutureGolf, Guru Collective, Leap Hospitality, Obbi, and Relay.
