LAFAYETTE, Louisiana – Golfballs.com, the leading online retailer of personalized golf products and a pioneer in golf e-commerce, proudly celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.

Founded in 1995, Golfballs.com is the longest-operating online golf retailer in the world, known for redefining how golfers shop through speed, customization, and relentless innovation.

The Origin of Online Golf Retail
Golfballs.com launched at a time when few Americans had ever purchased anything online—three years before Google was founded and long before e-commerce became mainstream. While today’s digital giants were still taking shape, Golfballs.com was already personalizing golf gear and delivering it to customers’ doors nationwide.

“When we started Golfballs.com in 1995, we had a vision—but it’s the customers, employees, and partners who brought that vision to life,” said Tom Cox, Founder and Executive Chairman. “This milestone belongs to them as much as it does to us, and it’s their loyalty and trust that have made thirty years possible. Every time a golfer customizes a product to make it uniquely theirs, they become part of our story.”

Since those early days, Golfballs.com has built a proprietary fulfillment and customization engine that allows customers to order personalized golf balls and gear with logos, names, photos, monograms, and alignment aids—often delivered the very next day. More than 80% of all products are customized in-house at the company’s Lafayette, Louisiana production facility.

In addition to serving individual golfers, the company provides high-volume solutions for tournaments, promotional campaigns, and corporate gifting programs. With partnerships that include top brands like Titleist, Callaway, TaylorMade, Bridgestone, and Srixon, Golfballs.com offers unmatched access and personalization across the golf industry.

“Celebrating 30 years is an incredible milestone, but what excites me most is what lies ahead,” said Greg Palmer, CEO of Golfballs.com. “Golfballs.com has always been built on innovation and a passion for serving golfers, and we are more committed than ever to pushing boundaries and delivering an even better experience for our customers.”

Recognized for Excellence and Global Reach
For six consecutive years, Golfballs.com has been recognized as a Top 100 business by the National Golf Foundation (NGF)—a reflection of its leadership, quality, and impact on the golf industry.

In 2024, the company expanded into Canada, marking its first major international growth initiative. The expansion enabled faster shipping, broader product access, and a stronger connection with a growing global customer base.

Looking Ahead
With over 200 employees and a culture rooted in continuous improvement, Golfballs.com continues to invest in technology, new product offerings, and scalable operations. As it enters its fourth decade, the company remains focused on leading the next era of golf e-commerce, giving golfers everywhere faster access to the most personalized gear in the game.
