Events to empower women’s golf participation and camaraderie across the U.S.

DALLAS – Omni Hotels & Resorts – the official hotel partner of the PGA TOUR – is proud to celebrate Women’s Golf Day with a weeklong series of activations at all 12 of its premier golf resort destinations.

From May 27 to June 3, Omni properties across the U.S. will host engaging and fun events designed to support and inspire women and girls through the game of golf, while additionally fostering a sense of belonging and community both on and off the course.

Events will be held at celebrated Omni destinations including Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa, Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa, Omni Grove Park Inn & Spa, Omni La Costa Resort & Spa, Omni Interlocken Hotel, Omni Mount Washington Resort & Spa, Omni Orlando Resort at Championsgate, and Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa and Omni Tucson National Resort & Spa.

“Women’s Golf Day is an incredible global movement that mirrors our own commitment to growing the game through access, community, and celebration,” says Dan Surette, Chief Sales Officer at Omni Hotels & Resorts. “At Omni, we believe golf should be welcoming to all, and we’re proud to provide meaningful experiences that invite more and more women to pick up the game, build confidence, and connect with each other through the game of a lifetime.”

Each resort will host club-in-hand golf experiences ranging from instruction and short-course play to on-course rounds and social hours. Designed for women of any and all skill levels, these tailored events emphasize inclusion and connection while creating welcoming environments where first-time golfers, avid players, and everyone in between can enjoy the sport, receive instruction, and meet fellow enthusiasts.

Participants can expect social elements like refreshments, networking opportunities, and property-specific programming that reflects the spirit of each location.

“It’s truly a pleasure to collaborate with Omni Hotels & Resorts and witness their meaningful commitment to Women’s Golf Day,” said Elisa Gaudet, Founder of Women’s Golf Day. “Their support is evident in the impressive number of Omni properties hosting Women’s Golf Day events nationwide. I was honored to attend last year’s event at Omni PGA Frisco, and we’re thrilled to return this year hosting a WGD Signature Series event. The facility offers an unmatched golf experience and is situated next to the home of the PGA of America.

“We’re proud of our shared passion to inspire more women and girls to play golf.”

Women’s Golf Day is a global movement that celebrates women and girls playing golf and learning skills that last a lifetime. Each event follows a simple, powerful format: two hours of golf activities followed by two hours of socializing and community-building.

Now in its 10th year, Women’s Golf Day is the fastest-growing female golf development initiative in the world, having introduced the game to thousands of new players at more than 1,350 locations across nearly 85 countries.

By embracing this format across its properties, Omni Hotels & Resorts ensures its Women’s Golf Day events are as much about joy and connection as they are about the game, welcoming beginners and experienced golfers alike to experience the sport in a fun, empowering environment.
