GIRONA, Spain – Camiral Golf & Wellness, formerly PGA Catalunya, has been named an official ‘Partner Resort’ of the PGA of Germany, becoming the network’s only partner destination in Spain.

This exclusive three-year agreement with the largest PGA in continental Europe with over 2000 members, solidifies Camiral’s standing as one of Europe’s premier golf destinations for playing professionals and coaching groups.

Felix Lechner, Managing Director of Professional Golf AG, which oversees all PGA of Germany partnerships, comments: “Camiral Golf & Wellness has been a long leading golf destination, and we are delighted to name it our exclusive Partner Resort in Spain. With its two world-class golf courses and state-of-the-art training facilities – including the PGA National Academy and an outstanding Trackman Range – it offers an elite training environment for golfers of all levels.

“Additionally, its prime location on the Costa Brava, with excellent transport links via Barcelona and Girona airports, makes it a convenient choice for our members to provide their clients with a unique opportunity to refine their skills while enjoying world-class hospitality and exceptional golfing facilities under the Spanish sun.”

Through this partnership, PGA of Germany members will receive exclusive access to preferential coaching packages and rates at Spain’s no.1 golf resort. The agreement also provides members with a dedicated winter training base, ensuring coaching and playing opportunities during the off-season.

“Partnering with the PGA of Germany reinforces our commitment to providing the highest standards of golf training and hospitality,” said Flavio Papa, Director of Golf at Camiral Golf & Wellness.

“Our two championship courses, state-of-the-art practice facilities, exceptional wellness offerings, and two luxury hotels will ensure that PGA of Germany professionals and their clients have an unparalleled golf experience, whether they are seeking a base for winter training or a venue for group coaching trips.”

Nestled just outside the culinary capital of Girona, the resort is home to the luxurious five-star Hotel Camiral, a member of The Leading Hotels of The World, and the four-star Hotel Lavida. Beyond the fairways, the resort offers an array of sport and leisure facilities and five on-site dining options, including the new seasonal Origin restaurant and the reimagined Camiral Bistro.

Golfers can also enjoy high-tech treatments and luxurious therapies at the state-of-the-art Wellness Centre, from whole-body cryotherapy, oxygen chamber therapy and photobiomodulation, to holistic massages and reformer Pilates, to enhance performance and ensure holistic recovery.
