BOSTON, Mass. – Boston Common Golf has announced a formal partnership with Youth on Course, a non-profit organization dedicated to removing financial barriers for young golfers.

The collaboration aims to expand access to golf for middle school and high school students in Massachusetts by providing affordable memberships and rounds of golf through targeted programming.

“Golf has given me countless opportunities on and off the course, and I believe it’s vital to pass that on to the next generation,” said Rory McIlroy, part-owner and player for Boston Common Golf. “Youth on Course is doing incredible work to break down barriers and make golf more accessible to everyone.

“By partnering with them, Boston Common Golf can make a real difference for young people in Boston, ensuring they have the same opportunities to fall in love with the game that I did.”

As part of the partnership, Boston Common Golf and Youth on Course will facilitate 5,000 rounds of golf for Boston-area youth for only $5 and will collaborate to develop opportunities for these young golfers to play at courses in the Greater Boston area and around Massachusetts.

Additionally, Boston Common Golf will facilitate the addition of 500 new complimentary Youth on Course members to foster a love for the sport and provide valuable opportunities for growth both on and off the course.

In addition to subsidizing rounds and memberships, Boston Common Golf will raise funds to support Youth on Course’s mission through various initiatives. These include a “Round-Up” campaign, where proceeds from Boston Common Golf merchandise will benefit the charity, annual fundraising activities, and participation in Youth on Course’s annual 100 Hole Hike.

“Our partnership with Youth on Course is deeply aligned with Boston Common Golf’s mission of fostering community engagement,” said Boston Common Golf President & CEO Mark Lev. “By making golf more accessible, especially to young players in the Boston area, we’re not just creating golfers – we’re building confidence, encouraging personal growth, and helping shape future leaders.”

“As golf continues its evolution, this partnership with Boston Common Golf connects more young people with access to learn and play across the City of Boston and throughout the area,” said Youth on Course CEO Adam Heieck. “We look forward to working with Boston Common Golf to support the next generation of golfers by creating a community where young people can experience life-changing opportunities through this great sport.”

Boston Common Golf is part of Fenway Sports Group and one of six inaugural teams in TGL, featuring the world’s top players. The team competes in the state-of-the-art SoFi Center, with 15 custom-designed holes blending virtual and live-action play.

Using a mix of technology throughout SoFi Center’s field of play, teams face off in two-hour matches in a hybrid of virtual and real-life action.
