The Willmoore H. Kendall Scholarship was established in memory of 1998 Club Management Association of America (CMAA) President Willmoore “Bill” Kendall, CCM. Kendall was well-known for his heartfelt openness to mentoring aspiring professionals in the industry. He was a strong supporter of CMAA and dedicated countless hours as a Chapter and National volunteer.

This highly competitive scholarship provides funding for club management professionals to complete all the professional development programs needed to obtain their Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation.

“The CCM designation is internationally recognized as the hallmark of professionalism in club management,” says CMAA President and CEO Jeff Morgan, FASAE, CAE. “This prestigious and competitive scholarship provides recipients with essential financial support to pursue their professional aspirations, including attending CMAA’s Business Management Institutes (BMI) and the Certification Review Course—key milestones on the path to earning the CCM designation.”
