MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – “The Q at Myrtle Beach,” a groundbreaking competition that blends traditional golf with innovative digital storytelling, is set to return in 2025, offering 16 players the opportunity to earn a sponsor exemption into the PGA TOUR’s Myrtle Beach Classic.

Featuring a 16-player field comprised of eight influential content creators and eight aspiring professionals, the 18-hole shootout will again be played at TPC Myrtle Beach, one of the Grand Strand’s most acclaimed layouts.

More details about the 2025 field, schedule and participants will be announced in early 2025.

In 2024, the groundbreaking event, created by Golf Tourism Solutions and Visit Myrtle Beach and in partnership with the PGA TOUR, helped reshape the golf content landscape, inspiring similar events like the PGA TOUR’s Creator Classic, further enhancing golf’s accessibility and entertainment value.

Following the success of the 2024 “Q at Myrtle Beach,” which garnered more than 1 million views and attracted 26,000 live viewers, the event is poised to build on its momentum. Last year’s star-studded field included prominent names such as Grant Horvat, George Bryan, Fat Perez, Peter Finch, and Luke Kwon, generating widespread buzz across the golf world.

“We are excited to bring back The Q at Myrtle Beach in 2025 and partner with the PGA TOUR to provide one individual the opportunity to compete in the Myrtle Beach Classic,” said Kyle Oland, Director of Marketing of Golf Tourism Solutions. “The Q will not only provide one individual the opportunity to play in a PGA TOUR event, but help kickoff the Myrtle Beach Classic in a fun and exciting way.”

TPC Myrtle Beach is the ideal stage for this cutting-edge event challenging participants on a layout that was designed to host PGA TOUR events.

Matt Atkins bested George Bryan in a sudden-death playoff to win the inaugural “Q at Myrtle Beach” in 2024. Atkins went on to make the cut at the Myrtle Beach Classic and finished 6-under par, good for a 46th place finish.

The second annual Myrtle Beach Classic will be played May 8-11, 2025 at the Dunes Golf & Beach Club, a Robert Trent Jones Sr. design that is ranked among America’s top 100 public courses.
