Nebraska course will put 2025 tee times on sale over Christmas
HOMER, Nebraska – The Landmand has closed to public golfers after its second full season. The Landmand season ended on Sept. 29, after which approximately 11,000 rounds had been played this year on the Landmand course.
The course put its 2024 tee times on sale on New Year’s Eve via its website, and was booked out for the year after two hours and forty minutes.
“Without a doubt, the highlight of the year came in late July when we hosted the Nebraska State Women’s Matchplay event,” says general manager Adam Fletcher. “Katie Ruge of Omaha won the title, but there were a bunch of really great players here, and it was fun to see some top women tackle the course. Our ladies course record of 70 was set that week – it was wonderful.
“We will host the ‘Throw Down Up Top’ collegiate event next week (Oct. 9-10), which we pioneered last year and which was a great success, so we are looking forward to that. But the heart of the golfing season was just seeing thousands of players from far and wide come to Landmand and enjoy the golf course and see what we have to offer.”
Developer and owner Will Andersen says: “It has been a fantastic season, with golfers visiting the course from a long way afield. I am really grateful to all our staff for the fantastic job they do to keep our guests happy before, during and after their rounds.”
Landmand, which was ranked as the fortieth best modern course in America by Golfweek magazine earlier this year, will again begin selling its 2025 tee time inventory will again go on sale at 8am CST on December 31. The season is planned to run from May 16-Sept. 28.
