Corporate team golf event promotes competition, camaraderie
GREENSBORO, Ga. (July 4, 2018) – The inaugural Reynolds Cup presented by National Car Rental, a golf tournament designed for corporate leaders who thrive on the competition and camaraderie that are the spirit of the game, is continues its team registration.
Scheduled for Sept. 10-12, 2018 at Reynolds Lake Oconee, the award-winning golf community and destination resort between Atlanta and Augusta, the 36-hole tournament is limited to 40 two-person teams who will take on the Rees Jones-designed Oconee Course. Scoring for both rounds will be based on the Stableford Best Ball format.
Created to be a one-of-a-kind experience, the Reynolds Cup combines world-class golf with fine dining and entertainment nightly, luxury lodging, as well as a private sporting clays excursion to Reynolds’ new Sandy Creek Sporting Grounds.
Competitors and guests will be treated to three days of complete access to the unmatched amenities at Reynolds Lake Oconee, a serene retreat where luxury merges with Southern hospitality.
Registration is $3,500 per two-person corporate team, and includes lodging for three nights at The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee, all food and beverage at tournament functions, one practice round, two competition rounds, a sporting clays adventure, and a player gift package consisting of a shopping experience from Bobby Jones Apparel. A spouse or guest package is also available for anyone sharing a room with a competitor for $500, which includes invitations to all tournament functions (including food and beverage), a spa experience at The Ritz-Carlton, a boat tour, and a private tour of homes.
Reynolds Cup special functions include the welcome pairings party at the National Tavern, a cocktail and dinner party at the Reynolds Kingdom of Golf, and the final night awards dinner at the Sandy Creek Barn. All food and beverages are included.
