$150,00-plus collected to support Els for Autism Foundation

DALLAS, Texas — The 2022 Arcis Golf “Round Up For Els for Autism” campaign has raised more than $150,000 for the Els for Autism Foundation. Founded by professional golfer and World Golf Hall of Fame member Ernie Els and his wife Liezl, the Foundation is a game-changing resource, delivering and facilitating programs for people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to help them lead positive, productive, and rewarding lives.

This is the fourth year that Arcis Golf’s nearly 70 clubs and courses around the country raised funds by encouraging members and customers to “round up” purchases of merchandise, food and beverage, or golf to the nearest dollar as a donation to the charity. Additionally, many clubs held special events and tournaments to support the “Round Up” campaign.

Two Arcis clubs, The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge, outside of Seattle, and Cowboys Golf Club near Dallas, were selected as sites of Els for Autism Golf Challenge regional events that raise additional funds for the Foundation.

Five other clubs – The Club at Weston Hills (Florida), The Club at Ruby Hill (California), Lantana Golf Club (Texas), and The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge (Washington) have each donated a full-year golf membership to the Foundation’s auction to be bid on, with all proceeds going to the charity.

“The Els for Autism Foundation funds important programs that are the leading examples of what can be available to people with autism spectrum disorder,” said Blake Walker, Founder and CEO of Arcis Golf. “Thanks to the generosity of staff, members, and guests at all our clubs, we are proudly supporting its initiatives and research.”

Additionally, The Club at Tartan Fields (Ohio), The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge (Washington), and The Club at Ruby Hill (California) have passed the $15,000 fundraising threshold which earned a trip to the Els For Autism Golf Challenge Grand Finale in the Bahamas this October.  This event celebrates the top fundraising teams and sponsors of 2022.  Several other Arcis Golf clubs are nearing this milestone, as well.

Arcis Golf promotes a corporate culture of giving and social responsibility, with the “Round Up” initiative just one of several ways the company supports dozens of local, regional, and national causes, including education, health care, military, adaptive golf, community programs, and grow the game initiatives.

“Since the company’s inception, we have been committed to the broader communities we serve,” added Walker.

“The leadership, members, and customers of Arcis Golf are wonderful supporters and advocates for our Foundation,” said Els. “These funds will help further our mission and services. By simply rounding up a transaction or participating in events at their courses, thousands of people have made an impact on the lives of those impacted by autism spectrum disorder.”
