BOSTON, Mass. – Boston Common Golf has announced a partnership with GOLFTEC, the world leader in golf instruction, to provide golf fans with swing analysis and data-driven insights designed to help them improve their own game.

As part of the collaboration, GOLFTEC branding will be featured on Boston Common Golf’s competition caddy, while GOLFTEC’s OptiMotion technology will be used to provide exclusive breakdowns of matchday swings, helping fans understand how the world’s best players generate power, accuracy, and consistency.

Through this partnership, fans will have access to high-level swing data and analysis that highlights key differences between professional and amateur mechanics, allowing them to apply insights to their own game.

Additionally, Golf Digest Online (GDO), GOLFTEC’s parent company, will help connect Boston Common Golf with Japan’s passionate golf audience, delivering exclusive content, swing analysis, and brand engagement opportunities.

With Hideki Matsuyama as a proud member of BCG, the partnership strengthens the team’s presence in one of the world’s most enthusiastic golf markets.

“This partnership with GOLFTEC allows us to take fans deeper into the game by providing a unique look at the mechanics behind a swing,” said Mark Lev, President & CEO of Boston Common Golf. “By breaking down the swings of the best players in the world and making that insight available to golfers everywhere, GOLFTEC is helping us bring fans information and data that could help them with their own game.

“And through Golf Digest Online, we have a great opportunity to build stronger connections with the incredible golf community in Japan, which is especially exciting given Hideki Matsuyama’s role on our team.”

“The opportunity to be partnered with the most innovative and globally renowned team in the newest, most innovative league in the sports world is an honor,” said Jeff Foster, GOLFTEC Enterprises Chief Strategy Officer. “Marrying our global footprint and advanced technology, OptiMotion, with such a great team, makes this partnership a perfect fit for our mission to help the world play better golf, anytime, anywhere.”

“It’s a special opportunity to bring global brands together to help grow the game that we love,” said Mike Ishizaka, Golf Digest Online CEO and GOLFTEC Chairman. “We’re proud to be at the forefront of such an innovative addition to the sport of golf alongside our great partners with Boston Common Golf.”

GOLFTEC will also outfit its New England training centers with Boston Common Golf’s branding and will also be integrated into the team’s community efforts, supporting the New England PGA Tournament and providing interactive activations alongside the team’s Dryvebox, a mobile golf simulator designed to bring the game to new and existing golfers in an accessible, engaging way.

Boston Common Golf is part of Fenway Sports Group and one of six inaugural teams in TGL presented by SoFi, a new golf league offering a fresh approach to the sport with a focus on technology, innovation, and fan engagement. Featuring the world’s top players, TGL’s team golf competition merges physical and virtual golf with two-hour, prime time matches.

Boston Common Golf can be followed online at BostonCommonGolf.com, and on social media platforms using the handle @CommonGolf on Instagram, X, TikTok, Snapchat, and Facebook.

The team also hosts content on YouTube using the handle @BostonCommonGolf.
